Problem while running Asterisk in Virtual box - virtualbox

I have installed the Virtual box. So in that I have install debian OS in the Virtual machine. In that debian OS I have tried to install the Asterisk. That asterisk also installed successfully. But after installing the asterisk if I call registered number which is register in the extensions.conf file, that time asterisk is not working correctly. In that extensions.conf file I have used the AGI.
Whether we can run the Asterisk in Virtualbox or not. But if we install asterisk in the separate machine, if we use the AGI in the extensions.conf file it is working fine. What is the problem, why it is not running in the Virtual machine?

No you can install Asterisk on any virtual machine, it works fine for me. I think your virtual machine is not properly configured. I recommend you to check that first

GDB: File runs on Cent OS 7 but not Ubuntu

I am getting the below error when using the gdb command run group3.
I installed gdb on Windows Bash as well as an Ubuntu VM on Virtualbox and am getting the same error.
Some important notes:
This program worked at my school using Cent OS 7
I tried changing the file to have a .exe file extension but that didn't work. It should not require a file extension because it worked at my Uni without one.

Did you use ftp to copy this program into VM?
Chances are you did the transfer in ASCII mode, corrupting the binary in the process.
You can verify this has happened by running md5sum group3 on both systems. If my guess is correct, the checksum will be different.
Use binary mode FTP instead, or use scp.
I ended up corrupting my 64 bit Ubuntu VM when running out of space when trying to install the i386 packages. I ended up installing a new 32-bit Ubuntu VM and the program ran on that successfully.

How to install OpenCV for C++ on Mac and configure with Netbeans

I am having trouble trying to install OpenCV correctly and configure it with Netbeans.
One of my University units is using Visual Studio with OpenCV but I do not own a Windows PC so need to install OpenCV on my Mac OSX 10.12.3 and configure it to work with netbeans in a C++ project.
I have explored many avenues to do this but can't seem to come to a solution.
If someone could provide a step by step guide, that would be very helpful. Ideally I would like the most recent version of OpenCV.
Option 1
Install Oracle VirtualBox for free on your Mac and then install Windows in a virtual machine. It is a single file on your Mac so you can remove all that ugly Microsoft stuff as soon as you finish your class. You can run the virtual machine at the same time as macOS (it is not dual boot and doesn't mess with your boot sector) and copy and paste between the two, share files between the two and use networking from the virtual machine.
Option 2
Get a free Amazon EC2 Windows instance and run your OpenCV and NetBeans on there. You can connect from home using RDP from your Mac and also from school so your work is always accessible.
Option 3
Install homebrew on your Mac, then install OpenCV and NetBeans with
brew install opencv
brew install Caskroom/cask/netbeans
Then configure the two to work together as per this post.

pyinstaller 3.2 build pyqt4/python2.7 to onefile exe, can not run missing msvcr100.dll?

As title,
Build successful, but the exe can't run. can not found msvcr100.dll.
I can put msvcr100.dll with exe in the same dir, the exe can run.
But I just want only one exe file.
Anyone know how to do?
Has solved. This is a bug of pyinstaller3.2, the new in the git has solved this bug. Down the newest source in the github, erverything works fine.

This is correct, I cant tell you how much that answer helped me out. I have been trying to build a single exe Exploit to execute on Windows XP with-out it crashing for my OSCP Labs/Exam. I followed so many tutorials and nothing seems to work. I was able to build the EXE but could not get it to run under a single EXE.
If anyone who reads this is getting "This Program cannot be run in DOS mode" try running it from another machine with the same build (Windows XP). There is not much info out there on how to solve that from a Reverse Shell on a End Of Life Operating System using an EXE exploit built with Pyinstaller. (Lots of Trial and Error and determination)
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (or some other version depending on python version) is needed in any case, python27.dll requires it
I was also receiving an error about msvcr100.dll when ran from the GUI on my build machine(WinXP SP2). This is corrected in the 3.3 Dev version on GitHub.
I installed the C++ 2008 Package but this didn't solve my problem when I re-built the EXE, the 3.3 Dev Pyinstaller was the solution.
What I did was:
Zip down the Dev version of Pyinstaller 3.3 Dev(GitHub) is the newest for 11/14/16 that I could tell. Make sure you have Python 2.7.x (I used 2.7.11) and pywin32 installed that matches (Python 2.7.x) version. (And it does matter if its 64-bit or 32-bit) Use the setup.py to install Pyinstaller, make sure you do not have a previous version already installed, if so use pip or etc. to remove. I installed with pip first and this was my whole issue.
I was able to get all of my 32-bit Single EXE Exploits to run on 64-bit/32-bit Windows machines up to Windows 10.
Once that is completed, make sure Pyinstaller is in your $PATH and follow the standard tutorials on creating a --onefile EXE. Copy to your Windows Target machine and it should work with-out error. I did not need to pull any dependencies over but you may have to include some with the --hidden command. Its greatly detailed in the Pyinstaller documentation on how to include hidden .dlls
If this still doesn't work for you try using py2exe. Its a little more complicated but it your determined you will figure it out.
If you have code written in python 2.x.x and 3.x.x you can have multiple environments of Python and have Pyinstaller installed in each. This is in the documentation as well.
Thank you jim ying. Your 2 sentence answer was exactly what I needed.

VirtualBox extension pack error

I purchased a network card to give a separate network to my virtual machine. My host OS is Ubuntu 14.04 . Also i need to mount the USB to my virtual machine and not my host OS, so i downloaded extension pack version 5.0.2 for Vbox-5.0 . While installing virtual box extension pack, there were two VM's running and i got this popup.
Failed to install the Extension Pack /home/aniket/Downloads/Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-5.0.20-106931.vbox-extpack.
Failed to load the main module ('/usr/lib/virtualbox/ExtensionPacks/Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack/linux.amd64/VBoxPuelMain.so'): VERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND - /usr/lib/virtualbox/ExtensionPacks/Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack/linux.amd64/VBoxPuelMain.so: undefined symbol: RTLogRelGetDefaultInstanceEx.
Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Component: ExtPackManager
Interface: IExtPackManager {3295e6ce-b051-47b2-9514-2c588bfe7554}
Even after power off of VM's and restarting the host OS, I get this similar error code.
Sorry if you think the question is not formatted properly or any other issue with my question. This is my second post, please tell me if there are any things i need to correct in my question.
Thanks in Advance.
After lot of test and trial, the solution I found that the extension pack was not compatible and hence I had to download the compatible version of the virtualbox I am running on.
What happened was this, I was running virtualbox-5.0 and the version I was trying to install was 5.0.20 .
You can check your version by clicking on Help and then About Virtualbox and download the exact compatible extension pack, else it will through the same hex error code 0x80004005 which means file not found.
Run vboxmanage command with sudo, i.e.:
sudo vboxmanage extpack install Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-5.1.22-115126.vbox-extpack --replace
From:
https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/17034
I uninstalled virtualbox, then reinstall it. After this the extension pack got installed successfully. My version is `5.1.12 r112440 (Qt5.6.2)
I encounter this problem again, but this time I disable my antivirus software(mcafee), that is ok. refer by https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/7972

How easy (or difficult) is it to migrate to a development environment on Mac from Ubuntu

I am used to Ubuntu, I like it, I know my way around it.
I am looking forward to upgrade my work laptop.
I find the awesome hardware that a Macbook Pro is made of, a turn-on.
Now, having never used a mac before, I'd like to know how easy it is to move my development environment to a mac from being on Ubuntu.
My work is primarily web application development using the django framework.
I love the apt-get install and the package managers and such stuff that Ubuntu provides. Are there equivalents on a mac?
What are the other things I need to know to move my development environment to a Mac?
I moved from ubuntu to Mac 6 months back, the tools that you get in Mac are awesome(like iweb) and most of the application work out of the box without compilation. There are alternative for apt-get in Mac, I use port, fink which works pretty much like apt-get. I would say list down all your favorites tools in ubuntu mostly you will find the same in Mac or its equivalent.
Should be pretty easy. MacPorts is like a package manager for installing open source software and libraries.
I do some django work and moved from Windows to Mac recently. I found it very easy since django is Python which is pre-installed in Mac OS X, but can be upgraded if necessary. I also use Eclipse with the PyDev plugin which all runs on Java.
