Which forums you are using for data mining questions? SO is mainly intended for programming, not for DM questions.
I can suggest KDnuggets; it is a site focused on data mining and analytics.
(Note: I am an editor at KDnuggets.)
Check out stats.stackexchange.com Although it's still in beta, there are some nice resources there.
Also, metaoptimize has some questions on this area.
Not sure what software package you're using but Microsoft has data mining related threads at its MSDN Forum site. Check out this link.
You can check my data mining forum. It is a small forum but it is alive and there is some people answering questions.

I want to study aws solutions architect, is it ok to still study material 001 from the books to prepare for the new version?? New version is 002. Specifically from books on amazon store.I was planning on buying some books. The material shoudnt be too diffrent??
I'd say it really does not matter as both share 95% of the same content. There are many good resources out there for it but do be aware the 001 exam is soon due to be deprecated so will not be available to sit (you'll still keep the cert).
i have cleared almost all AWS certifications.. including that of Architect.. I would say that yes sure u can .. there is not much of difference.

I am looking for an Open Source alternative to SAAS provided by lablife.org website. Main purpose of the service is to automate daily tasks for life science laboratory.
This service was free and nice to use, but when the original company developing this service
was bought by BioData they kind of decided to kill and replace it with a new service called labguru. Apparently, a new service has a lot of functionality missing or just bad.
That's why I am on a search for an alternative solution. So if you are familiar with what this software does - and if there are any known alternatives, I would be very grateful for any of your tips.
Check out Quartzy.com. I'm one of the founders. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

I'm looking for a comprehensive pthread tutorial. I considered buying Programming with posix threads but this book seems is bit dated. Other online tutorials like this are very basic. Can someone please suggest a good and complete pthread tutorial.
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory has an excellent tutorial at:
https://computing.llnl.gov/tutorials/pthreads/
The LLNL one is good but I also found http://randu.org/tutorials/threads/ which is for C but clearly written and very useful.
This should helpers:

I am not aware of a really good Django-App which provides Wiki functionality.
There is http://code.google.com/p/django-wikiapp/ , but it is not that extensive and no activity anymore.
Any pointers of how to integrate an already proven (and known) Wiki to Django?
Checkout https://github.com/django-wiki/django-wiki. I've installed it and so far it looks very promising.
One of these many packages may suit your needs: Djangopackages.com wiki grid
www.djangopackages.com is a great resource for looking for apps.

I'm looking for an easy way to programatically find active legislation currently under review in the US Congress and Senate (date introduced, title, general subject, etc...). I've google'd a bit and haven't come up with anything. Does anybody know of an API that can access this data?
You could also have a look at
Real Time Congress API from Sunlight Labs
API from GovTrack.us (beta as of this post)
