Error with Web Service reference in NetBeans 6.7.1 - web-services

I have created a java web project to make a servlet. However, it used to work fine before i reinstalled it. the Web Service reference doesnt not show the operations and gives the following error:

You need to make sure that JAR file(s) of Xerces is in the runtime classpath.

Azure App Service "Server Error in '/' Application"

I have a business website that has been running perfectly well on IIS using .NET 4.5, but in Azure it fails.
Now before I lead you too far down this rabbit hole, I can make the IIS fault in the same way as the Azure fault detailed below by NOT converting the website to Application. However, for the life of me I cannot find the equivalent option in Azure; how to convert to Application or equivalent?
I have uploaded to Azure using the Azure App Service Migration Assistant. The only alert was:
"IIS7+ Schema Compliance: One or more elements and/or attributes are being used which are not defined in Azure App Service IIS schema. Consider using XDT transforms."
This links to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-nz/azure/app-service/web-sites-configure which indicates various Azure Application Settings, which I have played with to no avail.
Server Error in '/' Application.
Configuration Error
Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.
Parser Error Message: It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.
Source Error:
An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Can anyone please provide any guidance as to what I am missing? many thanks for your time, Peter Finch
so the answer was setting virtual applications and directories for each website, and this now just worked. App Service, Application Settings, at the end of the list, Virtual applictions and directories.
This was the part that was missing, how to 'convert to application'
So resolved it myself, thanks for looking and I hope this helps someone else in the future.

Generating a WCF client for MODIS Web Service

I want to create a WCF client for MODIS Web Service available on this website: http://daac.ornl.gov/MODIS/MODIS-menu/modis_webservice.html There is a link to WSDL file, which can I use to generate proxy class. The problem is, that this file is somehow malformed, I cannot create clients with .NET tools like Add Service Reference, wsdl.exe or svcutil.exe. When I try to generate proxy class through website, I get following response:
I've tried to download the WSDL file and create proxy class from local copy, but then I've got this error:
These errors are the same for Add Service Reference and for console output of wsdl.exe and svcutil.exe utils. Is there any other way to create a WCF client to this service or is it impossible in .NET?
EDIT-----
I've managed that the problem occurs, becouse the WSDL is in RPC/Endoded standard and .NET tools cannot handle it properly. I've tried to convert it to Document/literal standard but it's still not working. Can somebody look at my WSDL file and check what I have wrong? It's available under this link: https://wklej.to/67rR7
removing wsdl:documentation blocks inside the element
tags helps to generating codes via svcutil.exe or wsdl.exe.
Baseline for this solution
Hopes this helps.

Problems with web service, Axis2 and Rampart

I'm new with the Web services and I have a problem obtaining the java files from a WSDL.
The devs of the servers gave me this information:
I have to generate the source with a xmlbeans binding using Axis2 and Rampart. The requests must be signed with a trusted certificate (I have one) and add a Timestamp.
That said, I downloaded the lastest versions of Axis2 and Rampart and executed the next command line without getting errors:
wsdl2java -d xmlbeans -uri https://juntadeandalucia.e-factura.net/puef/services/SSPPWebServiceProxyService?wsdl -o .\src\
I don't have a clue about how to configure Rampart (just copied the modules in repository/modules, inside Axis2 directory) and I don't know if it varies the result neither. The case is that, following the Apache web examples, I can't use the java source generated as is.
For example, to use the consultarFactura method I would need to write a source like this, following the Apache web examples:
SSPPWebServiceProxyServiceStub webservice = new
SSPPWebServiceProxyServiceStub(url); ConsultarFacturaDocument doc =
ConsultarFacturaDocument.Factory.newInstance();
doc.setNumeroRegistro(numeroRegistro); return
webservice.consultarFactura(doc); //Return the response
But setNumeroRegistro() its not a method of ConsultarFacturaDocument (witch is an interface), its a method of another interface called ConsultarFactura defined inside the first one.
wsdl2java gave me a wrong or incomplete code?
I have to do something more before generating the code?
Can I use another framework to generate a more clean code? (I tried cxf, but wsdl2java gave me errors, using the xmlbeans binding or not).
Any help would be highly appreciated.
(Sorry for my bad english)

Add service reference to ESB toolkit and BizTalk

I have installed BizTalk together with ESB toolkit and ESB services are up and running according to IIS. I want to connect to these services from a simple WinForm application.
When I try to add this service reference in my project in visual studio
localhost/ESB.BizTalkOperationsService/Operations.asmx
I get the following error message:
There was an error downloading 'localhost/ESB.BizTalkOperationsService/Operations.asmx/_vti_bin/ListData.svc/$metadata'.
The request failed with HTTP status 404: Not Found.
Metadata contains a reference that cannot be resolved: 'localhost/ESB.BizTalkOperationsService/Operations.asmx'.
The remote server returned an unexpected response: (405) Method Not Allowed.
The remote server returned an error: (405) Method Not Allowed.
If the service is defined in the current solution, try building the solution and adding the service reference again."
I can browse to:
localhost/ESB.BizTalkOperationsService
but not to the service directly:
localhost/ESB.BizTalkOperationsService/Operations.asmx
How do I communicate with this ESB service?
The problem was that the webservice had been incorrectly installed. I managed to fix this problem by unistalling and reinstalling according to this tutorial

Using jaxws causes Provider weblogic.webservice.core.soap.MessageFactoryImpl not found

We have created a websevice client using the jaxws-maven-plugin and validated that the WAR file works in our test environment. However, upon moving the same WAR file to production it now produces this error:
Caused by: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Unable to create message factory for SOAP:
Provider weblogic.webservice.core.soap.MessageFactoryImpl not found
at javax.xml.soap.MessageFactory.newInstance(MessageFactory.java:116)
Has anyone seen this and how was it resolved?
NOTE: We are deploying to a Glassfish server in both the TEST and PRODUCTION environments.
hmm seems like a simple cp setup issue - can you check/post the classpath on both of these environments? also check to see what is set for the javax.xml.soap.MessageFactor parameter in GF
