After contacting the SVN support (One of the best support services I experienced so far) they confirmed what bahrep said. Customising the web interface is not supported, but theoretically it is possible to change it on your own risk (Web interface is based on apache).
If there is a feature missing, they add the suggestion to their list for a possible feature.

I'm entering the world of Shiny Rstudio now. So this is a beginner question
One question I came up with is: how do I search for the Shiny Apps available/created? Are all created Apps available? Is there any way that, once I create my app, I prevent it from being viewed? Or during the creation I "block it"?

I am not sure if I understand your questions correctly but I might be able to give you some insights.
Are all created Apps available?
No, some shiny Apps are hosted on private servers or/and are embedded in password-protected websites or Wordpress-pages for example. If you dont have those access rights, then you cannot see those Apps.
How do I search for the Shiny Apps available/created?
There is no way of doing that, except on pages like Showmeshiny, the RStudio Shiny Gallery, this gallery of recent Shiny-Apps or pther similar pages. Those Apps are publicly available and you can submit your own App if you like sharing it. Shinyapps.io is a nice and easy way of deploying your App on a server with a few clicks. But you need at least the standard license to include authentication, otherwise they would be free and open for everyone.

I am not quite sure, what you mean. If it should be blocked from being viewed at all, I dont see the reason of building a ShinyApp. If you just want to access it yourself, then there are ways of doing so. Either password-protect it where only you know the password or host it on a local server that only you can access.

If you create it on your computer and run it, it will run on your computer and only be accessible to yourself, except you explicitly configure it otherwise. So there is no need of "blocking it".
When I try to create a new instance for deep learning on Google Cloud Platform, by following various tutorials including http://cs231n.github.io/gce-tutorial/, I can't select a zone or boot disk (I'd like to use Ubuntu 16.04. There is no response when I click these features. How can I set them?
I've tried to reproduce this issue with various levels of authorisation in my own project and I've not been able to reproduce this issue. As you have access to the Create Instance page, It looks to like this might be a browser specific issue, rather than and issue with authorisation, or any settings within your project.
Would it be possible for you to try and perform this task from a different browser and see if the result is the same? For example, can you try this in Chrome browser and in an Incognito window?
If you are able to perform the action from a different browser, you probably have an issue with cookies, or a third-party browser add on affecting the functionality with GCP. You could try enabling the cookies for the browser to see if that makes a difference, or disabling/removing third party add ons to see if that makes a difference.
My situation: I'm working on a web monitoring dashboard that assembles informations from different applications and sources and generate graphs, info graphics and reports.
The applications I'm trying to integrate are CACTI, Nagios, and other local private monitoring tools. I had no problem to integrate these applications, except for Nagios (I don't have much experience with it).
What I want to know is if there is a way to use Nagios as a Web Service, or something similar, so I can expose some of the informations and use it to generate my own reports on my dashboard application.
Is it possible to do that without any epic effort?

Nagios 4.x starting with version 4.4 now includes CGIs for JSON output. Installing the newest version of Nagios might be the easiest way to go.

The Check_MK Multisite GUI (Web base GUI using MK Livestatus) offers a web service mode, where you can send queries/commands as URL parameters and get the response as JSON in the body.
The trick is: Create a view in the GUI, which fits your needs. Then extract the URL of that view and add the parameter output_format=json. Now you should have the output in a parsable format.
For example, this URL should give you a JSON list of all services:
check_mk/view.py?view_name=allservices&output_format=json
You can try:

it's not web service but it can give current data without any complicated action. All you need redirect this data.
2)status-json plugin http://exchange.nagios.org/directory/Addons/APIs/JSON/status-2Djson/details which return data in JSON format.
3)NagiosWS plugin but I wasn't able to get to work it yet. I think it can be done for Nagios 2.x
4)GroundWork Foundation plugin. I think I will try use it now.
I was able to get to work 1 and 2 solution now.
Otherwise you can use Icinga which can give you some JSON or XML output. Icinga is fork of Nagios and can be installed with saving all your nagios data and plugins. At least it written on Icinga's site =) They have some other solution like PHP lib.

I have a Django web app that provides a download facility for a private user dropbox by issuing HTTP requests to a lighttpd server using the x-send-file header. I would like to extend this functionality to allow WebDav access from third party clients. Is this possible? The only examples I can see have statically defined WebDav folders.
The only example of a per-user dynamic WebDAV confir I can find is this solution using the Apache LA-U look-ahead feature.
I'd love to extend my Django app for this but the key requirement is to be able to generate a dynamic config. Integration with a third party solution would be OK.
Any suggestions?

I wanted to do the same thing. I also wanted to use other parts of Django with WebDAV, so I started the django-webdav project.

At this point it is working (passes litmus basic + movecopy tests) and I can use it with Windows and Linux (DAVfs2).

I was hoping to get some suggestions on some best approaches to develop a multi tenant Django project on Google AppEngine.
Some Thoughts to Consider.
I would assume using djnago.contrib.sites is a must.
I would like to use existing applications such as django-profiles and django-registration, I know their models would need porting.
Can multiple domains be pointed to the GAE App and the site be automatically chosen from the request headers?
IF not multiple domains, is there a way to say take a request say to www.example.com/tenantA/login and www.example.com/tenantB/login and push them to one view but with knowledge tennant without changing all the views, maybe using custom managers to hide the complexity from the views.
Generally hoping this will be a discussion of any approaches you have taken in the past or plan to take.
Looking forward to any Comments/Answers.

I can answer the App Engine questions for you, though I don't know the Django ones:
Yes, anyone can point a domain to your app using Google Apps, with the 'add services' option, entering your App ID when prompted. You can then check the 'Host' header to determine what site you want to use.
You can hide information per-tenant by using hooks to automatically insert the host in entities and queries: http://code.google.com/appengine/articles/hooks.html
Today Google released SDK 1.3.6, which includes multi-tenancy baked right into the solution.
