Does anyone have any suggestion regarding how the printing should be done?
I am using the gridster2 in my application as a custom-made dashboard, and I want the user to be able to print the all items even in case of scroll.

Is there a easy way to know what item was selected in LBN_SELCHANGE event?

I know I can implement a variable to remember what was selected.
The reason why I want this feature is:
In LBN_SELCHANGE, I have user enter the password. If the password is wrong I won't allow the change, so I want the selected item to go back to where it was.

Send app request to friend from page tab without pop up..!

Sound like tricky to me..
Sending app request in a popup is a common scenario..
I am trying it to be something static , NO POP UP, USERs should be visible just like any other media on page, with check boxes allowing selection with a send button.
MY guess is something like this.
I need to get the list of the friends and display it with check boxes.
After user selects some particular check boxes, and clicks the send button.
I need to get the list of the friends to generate the dialogue with those ids and send the request..
But even then, As far code is concerned, I am not able to achieve this, little hints would do i guess.

UltraComboEditor - Infragistics control

I have an UltraComboEditor (Infragistics control) and the user can input values on it. I used the AutoComplete property to do that.
But now I have a problem. I need to make sure that my user can delete a value that he wrote. I use the function canUndo but it not works.
How can I solve my problem?

I will try to add a ButtonLeft element, perhaps with a red cross image.
Let the user select an item from the combobox and then he/she will press the button element to trigger the action to delete the current selected element.
In the EditorButtonClick event you should ask for a confirm, search into your items collection and then remove the one selected.

Unlimited number of checkboxes

I wonder how to create mechanism which create new checkbox below previous when you click on button. Number of checkboxes are unlimited.
I don't think that table of objects work well, so I think about implementation in list of objects.
Any suggestions?
Here is what I would do:
Create an event for clicking that button (let's call it OnBtnClick)
Use a vector/list to hold all the checkboxes
When OnBtnClick is called you do:
create a checkbox with the desired position and size and make sure it receives an unique id (this will help you differentiate between checkboxes when they are clicked/checked/etc).
add the checkbox to the list (to get its status: checked or not checked)
add the checkbox to the desired window, the parent window (though this may happen automatically when you create it)
if you want to add an event for the added checkbox you should check the manual of your GUI framework (you will probably use the same event handler for all checkboxes and treat them separately based on their id)
Depending on the GUI framework used the bottom details may vary but the idea remains the same. I did this with wxWidgets, QT and MFC but I don't know which framework you use. You should be able to find code samples for each framework.
What would you do with unlimited number of check boxes - confuse the user? So, that he/she wouldn't attempt to use it again? Bad idea, as you can guess now.
You may (should) limit the number of check boxes (or better, limit the number of controls on form/dialog). IMO, more than 10-12 CBs would be cumbersome for the end user. Therefore, better idea is to have all of them on dialog/dialog-resource, and make all of them invisible/disabled. When user does some action, make them visible/enabled - so that end user may do something with it.
Still demand N number of CBs, where N is not determined beforehand? Then you may have checkboxes under Combo box, or use check-boxes under List Control. List Control already hosts this feature, but for CBs under Combo, you may need to write your own class.See this article as an example.

Win32API: How to determine if EN_CHANGE was because of user action, not software action?

I find this situation comes up from time to time, and I never seem to have a really robust generic solution to it.
I have a control - in this example an EDIT control on a dialog. I want to take certain actions in response to the user - and only the user - modifying the contents of the edit control.
The edit control can be set programmatically - e.g. when the dialog is being setup, there may be an initial value placed into the edit field. Or when the user selects an item from a listview, that selection's text may well be what's placed into the edit field.
But when the user modifies the contents of the edit field, I need to know that, and respond (in this scenario, I want to clear the selection from the corresponding listview).
I am currently looking at what control has focus, and only considering EN_CHANGE's to be "from the user" if the edit control has focus.
This works beautifully under Windows 7. This fails under XP (I haven't tested Vista yet).
In XP, if the edit field has the focus, but the user clicks on the list view, and the list view tells the edit control to set its contents, then I get a notification from the edit control which claims to still have focus (::GetFocus() == HWND of edit control). But this incorrect state doesn't occur in Win7.
This is a layered interface, so I cannot modify the list-view notification handler. It gets a selection change, and updates the edit field without my involvement or ability to really intervene other than to get notifications from both of them.
Any thoughts on how to generically, permanently solve the "Is this control notification really from the user" conundrum?
You can always track LVM_ITEMCHANGING, LVM_ITEMCHANGED, and EN_MSGFILTER messages. If the edit box is modified between LVM_ITEMCHANGING and LVM_ITEMCHANGED without an EN_MSGFILTER in between then you can probably assume the user did not modify the item. Or just check to see if there are any items selected when EN_CHANGE fires and if not or the text doesn't match the selected item, assume it is a user edit.
Or use ES_MULTILINE (from EN_CHANGE documentation):
The EN_CHANGE notification is not sent
when the ES_MULTILINE style is used
and the text is sent through
WM_SETTEXT.
I'd suggest using the right message. EN_CHANGE is too generic, you want to know if the user typed or pasted text. So why not subclass the control and watch for WM_KEYPRESS messages?
Alternatively, you can set a flag in your other code that sets the edit control content. You might be able to assume that anything that makes your wndproc re-entrant represents a programmatic change.
You aren't looking for something actually secure, are you? If you just want to exclude set content calls that's fairly straightforward. If you want to differentiate between user action and programmatic simulation of user keypresses, that's a much harder problem.
