I want to redirect original Error Page. (Oracle APEX 21.1) - oracle-apex

My professora :D
I don't want to create an error process for errors that would only appear when unlucky, e.g. "ORA-00055: maximum number of DML locks exceeded".
But if I don't do anything about it, APEX show the error log screen. I don't like that thing.
Is it possible to change the error screen in the settings within the Application?
For example, displays a message "Please wait some time and then execute again" with an image of a cute cat.
Thank you for your kindness that tried to answer my question.
And imagining a picture of a cute cat :)

Haven't done this myself since I'm not that fan of cute cats when I get errors in my application but this is how I would go about doing it.
In apex the look and feel of pages, regions, buttons, lists, etc is configured in templates. So if you want to change how something looks, templates is the place to look.
Look up what template is used for the error page. Navigate to "Shared Components > Themes > #your theme# > Component Defaults" and look for "Error Page".
In my case the value is "Standard" so that needs to be changed. Navigate to "Shared Components > Templates" and look for the Page template "Standard". Take a copy and name it "My template with Cat".
Modify the template to your needs. Add the cat picture here.
Modify the Component Default in step (1) from "Standard" to "My template with Cat"
Note that this will work for apex error only. If you are encountering ORDS errors, it will go to the default ORDS error page (no idea how to change that).

How can I view all the content of redmine, such as projects and tickets, easily on the screen?

I'm using REDMINE.
I have a list of projects on the screen.
Is it possible to add details of the ticket content to this screen?
I'd like to look over the screen at once instead of clicking with the mouse, how do I do that?
Also, if you have any plugins or useful tips and so on, please let me know.
Tamazawa, I believe you might be referring to "My Page" of Redmine where you could use widgets to decide what you see on that dashboard - keep in mind that such dashboard s project independent, so it can display issues from many projects that you are a member of on 1 screen.
For instance from My Page, you should be able to select an "Issues" widget to Add and set it up to pull a list of items to display using a saved custom query.
That should give you a snapshot of tasks at hand, without the need to click around the screen too much.
You may need to set up your saved query such that:
Description and / or
Last notes
are checked (if you want to see issues at a glance, without the need to open each one separately).
Alternatively, you can skip that "My Page" idea altogether, if you're ok with just opening a saved query with Description and / or Last notes selected.

How to look for a specific mapping in the navigator window

I'm new to powercenter and the learning curve of this tool seems to be different from the programming languages I'm used to. Where I work everyone tells me to ask people in the office. Access to the internet is non existant. Stack overflow is one of the few places where I can look for info.
I would like to do something basic like, in the navigator window, there are sometimes thousands of mappings with veeeery similar names, I would like to know if there is a way to enable a "control-f" type of functionality. As of right now, placing the mouse on the window and writing the name kinda helps, but since the names are stuff like
k_l_ll_sigpir_proyectname_mappingname
and there are dozens and hundreds that share the same structure: "k_l_ll_sigpir_" trying to navigate when you don't know where info is other than the name is a bit of a nightmare, compared to other tools at least.
Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.
I guess I was able to find something that might help, although this is a bit counter-intuitive. I'm assuming you want to find and open some mapping in Mapping Designer. Here goes:
After you've connected to Repository and have the right folder opened (not just connected!), choose Tools => Queries from the menu bar. A Query Browser should open for you.
Choose New to create a new query
In the Query Editor there's a grid. Choose Object Name in the Parameter Name column. Change the Operator to Contains and put whatever you're looking for as Value 1 (using your example: mappingname)
Click the blue play button on the menu bar or choose Query => Execute from top menu. Give this a few seconds.
Give it a few more seconds...
A Query Results window should be opened for you. NOTE: if you've been clicking anything it might get opened in the background - just check the Designer button on Start Bar. It should contain all the objects that contain mappingname string it the name. We've not limited this to mappings only though (I'll discuss this below).
=== now here's the odd part ===
You can right click any item on the list in Query Results window and choose Open in Workspace. And it won't work :)
Switch back to Query Editor window and close it (don't close the Query Results!). You may save you'r query if you like to.
You should be back at Query Browser. Close it.
Return to Query Results.
Right click the desired item and choose Open in Workspace.
Voila!
Now some remarks:
The whole repository is searched. The Query Results may therefore contain items from other folders, than the one you have open. Trying to Open in Workspace such objects won't work since the folder is not open in Designer.
You may construct more sophisticated queries. Just click 'Add new...' icon on the Query Editor window. This will add a line and allow you to choose extra conditions. It will be spawned by a AND condition which you may change to OR. You get the idea.
PS.
Yes, it's odd, I know. Just don't blame me ;)
The quick answer is that the 'metadata manager' tool can do exactly what you ask for. It is basically a 'google search' for your entire data warehouse. Only hiccup is that it requires a lot of work from the admins of your power center servers to get it up and running...
Alternatives:
Basically it depends on what you want to DO with the mapping after you've found it and why you look for it in the first place:
1) in the 'designer tool' you can look under 'targets' in the right hand tree structure
- when you've found the target table you want the mappings for
- simply right-click and choose 'dependencies'
- in the following dialog uncheck everything except 'mappings'
- in the following right click on the most likely mapping and choose 'open in workspace'
2) in the repository database there is a view called opb_task_inst_run that contains a row for each session that has ever run. You can write simple sql against that view with '%like patterns%' to locate mappings... you may want to add a where clause to 'start time' for the most recent week or so - especially if the repository is old and runtime metadata has never been deleted...
Please write back if you need something different...
I'm not aware of the functionality you're after within informatica, however, the mappings are listed in alphanumeric order which should alleviate this. Within the mapping itself there is search functionality to find transformations within the mapping.

No results message using display templates

I have a sharepoint 2013 site with a page that uses the CSWP and a custom display template. When there are no results, I want to display a message that says "Share What's Going On". I tried setting the $noResults variable in the display template, but nothing displays. When I set a breakpoint on that same line, the browser doesn't break.
How do I display a "no results" message?
Thanks
Jim
You'll need to set the EmptyMessage web part property value. The property is hidden so you'll have to set it programmatically or by exporting the web part and editing the .webpart file.
Think this link have your answer:

Page Region not display full page width

This is an odd one to me because it only started happening since we moved to Apex 4.2. To get round the problem i have to copy and paste regions I already have in the application, rather than simply creating a new one.
When i create a new application and try to create a region on a page the attached always occurs. This also occurs if i create a new page in a current applications that were already in place before the Apex 4.2 upgrade. Was it even to do with the upgrade?
I assume its something in the Templates or Themes under Shared Componants but i cannot see anything that sticks out.
I thought i would try an HTML5 template to see if that made any difference however the same occurs, see screenprint.
Is there an answer why this is happening and how it could be resolved?
This really looks like it is a template "issue". You need to check your page template: what is it named?
For example, in Theme 23 there are several page templates which include a left, right or both sidebars. When your page uses a template with this sidebar, then the sidebar will always use up a portion of the screen.
If you have no template specified but rather use the "Application Default", then go to "Shared Components > Templates" and look at the page templates section for the template which has a check in the "Default" column. Most likely it is a template including a sidebar.
Aside from that you could also always use a tool to inspect the HTML and CSS. For example, with Firebug in Firefox you could rightclick on the empty space left of your region and choose "inspect element with firebug". It might be a TD element. It might be a div with a fixed width. It might be custom css pushing things about.

Facebook Like Button Cache. Linter useless

Looks like an issue was closed related to the question I'm about to ask, so I wonder if I'm going to be skating on thin ice, but here goes. I feel like even though this is kind of localized by nature, it could be a useful example for other developers dealing with the Like button.
I seem to be having issues regarding the Facebook like button. The infuriating part is that I'm pretty confident I have everything setup properly, and even though the linter says "hey, this all looks kosher!" the like button fails to get the correct content and uses cached info from a different page.
Here's the case: referlocal.com. We serve daily deals, and list them right off the homepage. There can be one of many deals listed on that homepage, so obviously Facebook is seeing just one when it goes to take a peek at the root directory. Now, on the homepage, whatever deal your viewing has a FB Like XFBML tag with href and ref attributes set. Every page that displays a deal also has OG tags pointing directly to the offer view page. Deals can also be viewed on user pages. So, on these three paths:
/
/{username}
/offers/{city}/{title-url-alias}
a like button is included as well as OG tags that point to /offers/{city}/{title-url-alias}. For about 3 weeks, the button worked like a champ. But recently, it's been performing strangely. For any deal, regardless of the 3 locations, it always uses the information cached from the previous days "/" deal. Regardless of the OG tags or origination.
Here's the wildly confusing part. The Facebook Linter is supposed to recache the information on the page, right? Well, it sort of does. It picks up on all of the appropriate information set in the OG tags, but when you click the Like button at the bottom of the page, no dice, still uses the deal FB saw on the homepage from the day before.
I know this is probably killing my argument for localization, but check this out:
http://developers.facebook.com/tools/lint/?url=http%3A%2F%2Freferlocal.com%2Foffers%2Fdallas%2Fget-20-of-authentic-italian-american-cuisine-for-only-10-at-leggios-italian-ristorante-dallas
Regardless of the fact that the linter finds all the appropriate information, the like button at the bottom still is liking a deal FB cached from the previous day.
Any ideas?
I had this problem too. The linter caches things in a very weird manner - seems like the best thing to do is either to add a query string and change it every time, or just rename the file every time you're checking.
