How do I stop EG 8.3. from automatically downloading results after running my code?
In EG 7 this functionality was in a checkbox:
Options>Results>Results General>Automatically Open Data or results when generated
Now I can't find it :(

I have a problem with SAS Enterprise Guide (EG) on my MacBook M1. I run Windows 11 on the machine using Parallel Desktop.
I got no problem to use the Data Integration (DI) and Forecast Studio (FS), I can work on both tools for my project.
But on EG, when I try to open the Libraries from server, I will get error "Unable to load the children for the item named 'Libraries'".
I search on Google and found below
http://support.sas.com/kb/65/222.html
It basically said that is due to permission on desktop and documents folder. But I can't any where to do the setup.
May I know anyone encounter this problem before and is there any solution?
According to SAS, EG is not support ARM processor. So can't use EG on M1.
Whenever I click the weka option/button, weka freezes. I had not done anything but installed fresh weka 3.8.4 recently. Even when I clicked explore, it freezes.
Welcome to SO. One of the best ways to see errors occurring in Weka is to look at the "console" output. Please enter "weka with console" in the program search section. So you start Weka from console. Let's say it froze after the clicks you specified. You can now get clues about this situation by looking at the "console". Probably an exception occurs or Java installation is problematic.
As another solution, try downloading Weka with integrated java. You can find it in the link below.
Click here to download a self-extracting executable for 64-bit Windows that includes Azul's 64-bit OpenJDK Java VM 11 (weka-3-8-4-azul-zulu-windows.exe; 118 MB)
For details: https://waikato.github.io/weka-wiki/downloading_weka/
It can help you understand what is happening as it will be independent of Java in your operating system. If it works, it means Java in your operating system at the root of your problem.
Good luck.
We have two Windows 7 client PCs with SAS EG 7.10. and a .Net program that runs the SAS programs on a separate SAS server running SAS 9.4. We recently started getting this error on one of the client PCs when a SAS program completes...
System.AccessViolationException at
System.Runtime.InteropServices.ComTypes.IConnectionPoint.Unadvise(Int32)

SAS.CIODSFileEvents_EventProvider.remove_FileClose(SAS.CIODSFileEvents_FileCloseEventHandler)

SAS.EC.Directory.DirectoryService.Dispose(Boolean) at
SAS.EC.Session.LocalSession.Cleanup() at
SAS.EG.Scripting.Application.Dispose(Boolean) at
SAS.EG.Scripting.Application.Finalize()
The same SAS program runs fine from the other client PC. The only thing that may have changed is that the failing Windows 7 PC may have been patched and I noticed the .Net version is now 4.6 whereas I think it was 4.5.1 before as it is on the other client PC.
I found an article saying that SAS EG prior to v7.13 requires .Net 4.5.1 whereas SAS EG 7.13 and later requires .Net 4.6.
We also get the same error on a new Windows 10 client PC we are setting up that has .Net 4.8 and we have installed SAS EG 7.15 which we thought would be more compatible with Windows 10.
Can anyone explain why we get this error and whether there is anything we can do in a SAS program to fix it or whether this is due to incompatibilities between SAS versions and if so what SAS EG versions can we use on Windows 10 to connect to a SAS Server running SAS 9.4 ?
Thanks
I am following page for building chromedriver.exe from source code:
https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/master/docs/windows_build_instructions.md#Get-the-code
I have installed Visual Studio 2017 as stated.
Also downloaded and extracted depot_tools in C:\src\depot_tools.
I have installed Python 2 and msysgit previously.
I have added depot_tools in PATH System Variables.
I have also added 'DEPOT_TOOLS_WIN_TOOLCHAIN' variable in System Variables with value 0.
Now as stated I am running gclient command from cmd but nothing is working.
I can't move further.
Also if you have any Video Referral please share as I didn't get any on Google search.
And if you know it well and would like to help please share your email id or twitter handle because it seems hard to get answers to such queries as there are only few such questions on StackOverflow and that too uanswered. So a contact might be helpful.
I'm trying to install iCloud on my Windows XP Pro (SP3) PC. Officially it's supported only for Vista and later, but this hack is widely claimed to work:
Open iCloudSetup.exe file and unzip its files including
Navigate to and open the iCloud.msi with Orca.
In the left table select LaunchCondition. Then change in the right table “VersionNT> = 600” to “VersionNT> = 200” and Save.
Run modified iCloud.msi and install.
Run iCloud Control Panel, located in the Windows Control Panel, and set up as you want.
I tried that promising solution in vain. It seemed to successfully install iCloud, but whenever I try to run it I get
this obscure error
After much fruitless searching I've not found out how to proceed from there and would appreciate advice please.
That trick worked with only the firs versions of iCloud Panel, the v1.0.
For the v2.1 doing the trick the installer ran ok, but when trying to run the iCloud Panel it showed the error you're refering to.
I had some computers running with that older version without any problem.
Try downloading the v1.0 version here:

If you want to try the trick with the v2.1 you have the installer here:
http://icloud-control-panel-for-windows.uptodown.com/
Remember you need to extract the MSI from the exe to do the trick. After running the exe check the %TEMP% folder to get the MSI file.
