I use the function getCaptcha() from UserInformationRecoveryServiceStub class (org.wso2.carbon.identity.mgt.stub_5.12.387.jar provided by WSO2IS 5.8), and I have this kind of problem
ERROR {org.wso2.carbon.captcha.mgt.util.CaptchaUtil} - Error in cleaning old captchas. org.wso2.carbon.registry.core.exceptions.ResourceNotFoundException: Resource does not exist at path /_system/config/repository/components/org.wso2.carbon.captcha-images/0ab1c75d-972a-45da-8be7-17536d06c80d.jpg
I think WSO2IS 5.8 got lost with this captcha
As things progress, occasionaly, i have this kind of error :
TID: [2020-05-21 00:07:11,501] ERROR {wso2is.Wso2isServiceManager} - Read timed out {wso2is.Wso2isServiceManager} org.apache.axis2.AxisFault: Read timed out at org.apache.axis2.AxisFault.makeFault(AxisFault.java:430) at org.apache.axis2.transport.http.HTTPSender.sendViaPost(HTTPSender.java:203) at org.apache.axis2.transport.http.HTTPSender.send(HTTPSender.java:81) at org.apache.axis2.transport.http.CommonsHTTPTransportSender.writeMessageWithCommons(CommonsHTTPTransportSender.java:459) at org.apache.axis2.transport.http.CommonsHTTPTransportSender.invoke(CommonsHTTPTransportSender.java:286) at org.apache.axis2.engine.AxisEngine.send(AxisEngine.java:442) at org.apache.axis2.description.OutInAxisOperationClient.send(OutInAxisOperation.java:442) at org.apache.axis2.description.OutInAxisOperationClient.executeImpl(OutInAxisOperation.java:228) at org.apache.axis2.client.OperationClient.execute(OperationClient.java:149) at org.wso2.carbon.identity.mgt.stub.UserInformationRecoveryServiceStub.getCaptcha(UserInformationRecoveryServiceStub.java:4339)
After a WSO2IS restart, all is ok for a short time (few days), and we still have this error.
I try to create the missing resource, but it seems not create, i have the same error message "Resource does not exist". The number of captcha created increases rapidly.
How can we fix this permanently?
Thanks :)
The "resource does not exist" error can happen due to one of the following reasons
Trying to answer a captcha which has already answered.
Trying to answer a captcha which validity period has expired.
In both of the above cases, the identity server deletes the records related to the captcha.
Hard to identify the reason for the read timeout with the given information. One possible reason could be the high load.
Cheers,
Isura.

Both the errors are due to date and time mismatch, ie.. try syncing system time settings to your exact location and login,that worked for me.
When I deploy new deployments or edit any settings, It returns following Error

How can i fix it??
I think the reason is because your time and date are not right. As I can see in the log, your time is 8 days behind the current day.
Please sync your time in this server and try again.
You need to have new certificate for aws-load-balancer-webhook-service. We have issuer set up in the cluster and when we get similar error in OPA we do a rollout restart for opa.

Startup of Message Broker looks fine, no errors, JDBC connection to PostgreSQL DB is ok, Registry mount looks ok. Then after that error appears in wso2carbon.log several times/minute.
Anyone any ideas? As far as I know nothing's changed and I don't know what it's trying to connect to.
This usually happens when client's whom connected to MB tries to create connections per message. jms is heavy connection and not recommended to create connections per each message. Therefore, please go through client implementation and verify connections are not created per message.
If by any chance you are using wso2 esb to publish/subscribe queues/topics to mb there is a property "transport.jms.CacheLevel" connection caching in esb axis2.xml.Read the documentation and use appropriate caching level for your usecase.
There was bug in connection caching property to be ignored in esb 4.8.1 which is currently fixed in 4.9.0 as well.
These are the possible cases I can think of with the given information. If you need more info please provide a detailed usecase.
I am at my wits end on this and can't figure this out. In sitecore v6.2 something has changed that is causing an error message as follows
"The operation could not be completed. Your session may have been lost due to a time-out or server failure".
looks like this is coming from Sitecore.Web.UI.Sheer.ClientPage?
The request info:
https://sitecore.test.domain.com/sitecore/shell/sitecore/content/Applications/Content%20Editor.aspx?ic=People%2f16x16%2fcubes_blue.png
the response:
{"commands":[{"command":"Alert","value":"The operation could not be completed.\n\nYour session may have been lost\ndue to a time-out or a server failure.\n\nTry again."}]}
At first, I assumed it was because plugged in some new HttpModules so I moved them into the sitecore pipeline model and the problem kept persisting. I removed them from the entire application and the problem kept persisting.
A google search on the error gets me to some information on the keepalive.aspx stuff, but addressing that has no bearing.
I decompiled the code with reflector, but can't find anywhere this particular error is raised. It must be in sitecore.nexus or something.
According to my superiors we will open a ticket once we get the build resolved, but here's to hoping someone here has some suggestions.
The constant for this error message is THE_OPERATION_COULD_NOT_BE_COMPLETED_YOUR_SESSION_MAY_HAVE_BEEN_LOSTDUE_TO_A_TIMEOUT_OR_A_SERVER_FAILURE_PLEASE_TRY_AGAIN
This might happened if you server restarts while some dialog opened
the below code was working until a few days back, but it started giving exception
<cfpop
action="getall"
name="qMessage"
server="mail.forestweb.com"
port="995"
username="email***#industryintel.com"
password="******"
timeout="30"
/>
I am running this code every 10 minutes to fetch the emails. And getting following exceptions:
Message: An exception occurred when setting up mail server parameters.
Detail : This exception was caused by: javax.mail.MessagingException:
Connect failed; nested exception is: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out.
Can anyone please tell me why this is happening and if it has any solutions.
The root cause for me, when I had this problem, was that my harddrive was nearly full combined with the fact that there were some invalid spool files in the spool directory.
I cleared some space on the harddrive that my cf server was on and the email started sending again.
Port 995 is typically used for SSL secured connections. Natively, CFPOP does not support SSL. However, there is a way, check out this post http://www.thecfguy.com/post.cfm/ssl-support-with-cfpop
Hope that helps.
