I have a multilanguage agent which is integrated with Hangouts chat and Google Cloud Platform. Do you know any easy way to switch languages during conversation? Fe. at the beginning of talk, you can choose your default language for this session? Or maybe you have any other ideas how to do that?
Thank you!

I am a very new developer who can write basic HTML (yes I know it's English), and is looking for a solution to a problem that I basically invented.
I recently bought a product called Doorbird, a very cool and well engineered IP Doorbell. The reason I bought it, is because it has an App, and integrates with IP phones and support video, and has a few bells and whistles, if you're not familiar with this product, I highly recommend looking at it.
The "problem" is that it does not integrate with Google Home, or Amazon Echo. However, it does have an API that allows you to go to the URL, login and unlock the door. I was looking into creating my own action that would have the Google Home login to the Doorbell and go to the unlock URL.
My issue is, I have no experience with this, but I pick things up very quickly, and believe in myself!
I already looked at the api.ai site from Google, and have signed up. It looked simple, but upon further investigation looks very complicated.
If anyone would be able to point me in the right direction I would be greatly appreciative.
Thanks in advance,
-Jack G
You need them to publish their REST api so that you can call the 'action' to unlock directly vs. having to go to a login page. You would probably set up oauth to have your server talk to theirs or use web headers. Ask their tech support if they support direct REST api using a security model.
I want to implement chat with functionality for my website. Not chat application which allows chatting among the users. User can chat to the website only. Exactly like Amcat livechat. How do I achieve this? Any suggestions please. I have googled a lot. But got only ideas and tutorials for chat application only.
Your best bet is probably to find an off-the-shelf solution that provides some kind of widget that you drop in to your site. Building this kind of thing yourself is usually a bad idea.
I have looked through the web and not found any information about if the Google Glass will have speech recognition in other languages than English? Like Google Now for example has a fine working recognition for Swedish.
Or do I need to implement some third-party recognition myself?
If anyone in the Google Glass Team has this info, this would be nice to know!
Thanx
Joakim
I'm not on the team, but the usual response is that the focus right now is the US only and that they don't comment on future plans.
There are a lot of legal/regulatory issues to deal with before Glass can be supported in other countries, and they're still dealing with those issues in the US. They have demonstrated Glass to non-US government leaders, but not announced any formal support in those countries.
It is certainly expected that they will support Glass internationally, just like they support other products where possible, but that there is no indication when that support will be available.
I have used this to implement speech recognition on Google Glasses:

Easy to implement and to start with.

I have to create web application similar to twitter with a few tweaks using django. I am clueless if I have to use a CMS for this or any other existing django-application. Working from ground up is quite tedious to be honest. Can anyone recommend me which CMS( or anything else) I should attempt trying?
There is a project called trillr1. According to its page:
"Trillr is a Twitter-like microblogging service enhanced with user directory and group discussion features. " that's maybe what you want.

I guess, the closest you can come with an out-of-the-box software to imitate Twitter is Status.net, the software, that powers identi.ca. However, this is a PHP application.
I'm not aware of something similar in the Django world.
What API is available to use Facebook from C or C++, and is there a library to do the grunt work for me? (So that you for instance can use Facebook from a desktop program written in C++.)
Thanks sehe.
Yes you are able to develop Facebook application using C/C++.
Here's a good API http://projects.seligstein.com/facebook/
You can develop a Facebook Application in whatever language you want, as long as you can ask for data over the network. The API does not care what language you are using to query it. The SDKs are only there as a starting point for languages that are commonly used to write applications, such as JavaScript and PHP.
EDIT:
I know the question has already been "answered", but since the asker changed their question, here is information about repositories on github which may serve as starting points for modern Open Graph API C++ applications. All of these are open source :)

sure you can my facebook Graph mobile app is developed using Qt c++
