Build a website in sitecore and make it offline - sitecore

I want build site using Sitecore(7.2) and also make it offline. Our requirement is not to use headless CMS. Is there any way to build or make it offline?

Internet websites cannot be delivered 'offline' without having all possible data delivered to the device so that it no longer needs to connect to the internet. This sounds less like a website, and more like an app that somebody would install?
If so, you probably DO need to look at headless and building an app that connects to the APIs for updates.
You might need to be more specific about the business use case because it seems contradictory to want to use a web application software that delivers web content, without using headless, and works without the web.

As already suggested that internet websites cannot work offline so either you have an app or intranet website.
Considering as an app you can consume sitecore OData apis for Content/Media however it will not work for Presentations and you have to implement your own mobile designs based on Xamarin or native.

Can we move Amazon Honeycode Apps to Android Play store?

Am Exploring Amazon Honeycode Beta version for web/Mobile app development. Am able to develop an app in Amazon Honeycode Portal. Am trying to understand that is there any possibility to move the honeycode app to Android Play store or Amazon restrict only to Team members who has installed Honeycode app ?
You can invite users to the app however are you asking for an Android Native app?
It depends how easy it is to jump out of the walled garden. If your app is a fully fledged website then you're good to go directly to the app and use a thin wrapper like electron. However based on the documentation you're app is making api calls, the HoneyCode app is doing the heavy lifting for the frontend.
To build your own you would need a frontend to make the same api calls and render it.
The api only has two apis. Probably check if you can get the data you want working first before building the frontend.
Something like amplify handles the frontend better.

Firebase-powered app with web service code

I am planning to use Firebase database and want to know how it fits in to the following scenario.
lets say I have a browser app, android app / iOS which uses Web Services to get / insert data, web services talks to the Data Base and returns data to the client.
This way I have to write code once in my web services and all the clients use that to retrieve and insert data to the database.
If I want to use Firebase, will I be following the same approach of having webservices between the client's and the Firebase DB.
I have done some sample Firebase examples where it it gets data from database directly without web services and in this approach we have to write our logic on each client (Web browser/ android app/ iOs app).

The Pattern 2 has the server concept but that does not look appropriate in my scenario.
Can I have my web service and Firebase database and get data Synchronization capabilities.
Correct me if I am wrong and please suggest the approach I need to take.

The article you link gives you the most common options for integrating Firebase into your app. Pattern 2 is the easiest way to use the Firebase Database and run your own server-side code:
In this model the Firebase Database sits between the app on the user's device and your back-end code. By using this model, you can still get all the benefits of the realtime synchronization, security rules and scalability, but also have back-end code that runs in a trusted environment.
Of course you can also go for a more traditional three-tier model, where your app server sites between the devices and the database. But in that case the Firebase database won't have direct interaction with your app anymore, so you'll have to take care of the realtime aspects of the synchronization (if you want those) in your own code.
I also recommend reading the Google Cloud documentation on using the Firebase Database and App Engine's Flexible Environments. The architecture described there is the same, but a bit more up-to-date:

Is it possible to make a call out to a remote server from within a SharePoint 2013 app?

I am very new to SharePoint development as well as SharePoint overall, so I apologize if this question seems like a no-brainer. I'm currently working on a SharePoint 2013 app and I'm wondering if it's possible to make a call out to some URL from within the SharePoint environment. Basically, I want to do this within an event receiver after some action is done to a list, and from there I want to make a call to some web service on my server to update my system. Using the REST API to poll the SharePoint server isn't a good option for this scenario since it won't scale very well.
When dealing with SharePoint 2013 apps you can access any resource using standardized APIs. In addition to REST SharePoint is offering the JS Client Object Model (CSOM).
In order to access data from another web than the current one, your app needs the permission to interact with the entire tenant.
If you're trying to query data from another host, you have to use JSONP because of the same origin policy.
if you are building an app using the "new App Model" for wiring up Remote Event Receivers it is possible to do anything, in which your app hosting framework/environment allows you to. If you are building a Classic App (Farm Solutions) you'll have access to perform operations which are allowable from the SharePoint servers directly...typically this is a lot as GAC deployed assemblies are granted full trust.
depending on what you are trying to do and what kind of resources you app will consume. I'd consider moving the dependancies away from SharePoint and building using the new App Model versus the older farm solutions. As you sound like you are starting in SharePoint, this gives you an opportunity to learn the new ways of doing development for SharePoint.
Lastly, you might consider building a workflow. Not sure what kind of app you are building but the new workflow capabilities include actions which can make RESTful calls. Potentially making your application a "no code" solution. Again it all really depends.

how to publish and discover a java web service

I am new to developing web services using java. I have an academic project where I need to do dynamic service composition. For that I can't directly create a service-client for a particular service because if I do so then that client will call that particular service only. Client need to search various web services and then out of those services select any one at run time and also call that service at run time.
I was able to develop the web service(JAX-WS) using Eclipse(indigo), I also created the client for that web service and every thing is working fine. Now my problem is that while creating the client I am hard coding the client to call that particular web service only(since I am creating the client using the WSDL file of the service). However I actually need to call any one of the searched service, but for that I need to publish the service some where then discover it and then call it.
I tried publishing the service to juddiv3. But on juddiv3 I could only publish the sample service supplied with the juddiv3. When I try to publish service created by me then it is not getting displayed in the group of published services.
Is there any other UDDI server which I could install on my local machine and then publish and discover the service from that. Also I was not able to figure out how to create a client that will modify itself at run time to call any one service out of various searched services.
Kindly provide the necessary steps and code.

You can use jUDDI (http://juddi.apache.org/ ).
juddi is based on UDDI v2.0, v 3.0 .
Here, you can publish as well as discover your web service.
For integration, you have to make some application which integrates with jUDDI.
But I think for your academic project, and for your purpose, jUDDI is best suitable! ( :) )
jUDDI has a boat load of examples in the source code trunk. You may want to check them out. It's difficult to guess what the problem is from the little information you've provided. You cannot directly publish on jUDDI. You need to create publisher entities in jUDDI server also. You'll find Rename4Sales and Rename4Marketing examples in 'Classes' folder in the standalone server's juddi application. Use these XMLs as your basis and create your own entity. You also need to configure the server's login credentials.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM -- Do people build websites with it?

Forgive my ignorance, but do people build websites with Microsoft Dynamics CRM?
I have a potential client who says that is the technology they will use for a new web project, for which I would be doing the HTML templating. I want to learn all I can as I am new to this particular system, but I can't seem to find anything related to web building and CRM. Is it more likely the client is using another piece of technology that they are neglecting to tell us about?
Any experience or insight about this process is greatly appreciated!
You can't build website using MSCRM, but you can build ASP.Net website using CRM content easily. The API provided by MSCRM is a set of web services, that can be queried in a website to populate pages content.
Also, you can directly query the Database if you want ReadOnly content, and only for read-only content, because it is not supported to update/create data using SQL connections.
Note that it's required to have the external connector license to use any data in the CRM, thru the API and even thru direct SQL queries.
I have built a website using .NET, utilising the CRM4 API and database. All the website did was to submit queries to CRM using the CRM web services and metadata web services, and get data back. This company was already using CRM for their back end, so it's much easier for the front end to use the same database as well since it's a simple one.
The alternative would be to create an intermediate connector between the 2 systems -- backend and front end, which is not as efficient (for our case anyway).
