I want to test flatpak because many people recommend it for me.
At the first try, I installed the package Brackets, but it failed, I can't open it.
I execute in a terminal:
/usr/bin/flatpak run --branch=stable --arch=x86_64 --command=brackets --file-forwarding io.brackets.Brackets ## %F ##
and get this error
error: runtime/org.freedesktop.Sdk/x86_64/1.6 not installed`

I installed elementary OS. I was trying to download apps with flatpak. I downloaded flatpakref files into "~/Downloads/flatpak/" directory. Then i wrote sudo flatpak install com.discordapp.Discord.flatpakref.
I got an error like this
error: No entry for app/com.discordapp.Discord/x86_64/stable in remote 'freedesktop' summary flatpak cache
Then i thought that the discord package is broken. I tried with Atom text editor.
Then i got this error
error: No entry for app/io.atom.Atom/x86_64/stable in remote 'freedesktop' summary flatpak cache.
I searched about the error but i couldn't find anything. What is this error and how can i fix this?
I reached this GitHub repo. about google safe browsing database.
I have never used go, but I think it is required now. So I installed it using:
sudo apt install golang-go
Then, I followed the instructions in the GitHub page. I executed:
go get github.com/google/safebrowsing
But nothing installed in the path I was executing the command from. However, I proceeded to:
export PATH=$PATH:$GOPATH/bin
Then the manual says, run the following command (which is two lines, I executed the first line, then I press enter, then nothing changes. Then executed the second line separately:
go get github.com/google/safebrowsing/cmd/sbserver
sbserver -apikey $APIKEY
After executing the second line, I got this error:
Command 'sbserver' not found, did you mean:
command 'sxserver' from deb sx
command 'sb_server' from deb spambayes
command 'ssserver' from deb shadowsocks
Try: sudo apt install <deb name>

Your PATH is wrong. You will find sbserver in $GOPATH/bin.
Try ${GOPATH}/bin/sbserver -apikey $APIKEY
If that does not work, then follow the Go installation instructions and make sure that your Go environment variables are correct.
GOPATH should look like /home/myname/go or something else that looks normal.
Your PATH should contain ${GOPATH}/bin
include sympy python packages into Chaquopy:
I started with the example python provided by Chaquopy available at github (https://github.com/chaquo/chaquopy) for Android studio 3.0.1.
Than I created 2 wheel files from the sympy source () files, based on python 3.6.3, see the below files that wheel generated:
"mpmath-1.0.0-py3-none-any.whl"
"sympy-1.1.1-py3-none-any.whl"
I tried to install the above files into the build.gradle of the demo example from 1., for testing purposes I tried some of there own wheel files (that process succeeded), but could not install my own wheel files.
I am fairly certain that the local wheel files that I generated are placed in the proper directory, because if I change the directory in the gradle file it complains that it cannot find the file.
I included the wheel files in the build.gradle(Module:app) file as follows:

Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong?
sympy and mpmath have now been added to the Chaquopy wheel repository (https://github.com/chaquo/chaquopy/issues/20), so you don't need to build your own anymore.
Did some further investigation and did see that I somehow compiled for Py2, while my wheel files where version 3 changing this resulted in a correct executable.
It did run into a different issue, while the mpmath module could be imported into the interactive python console (part of the demo app), the sympy module gave an error:
ModuleNotFoundError: no module named 'distutils'
Let me know if anyone ran into a similar problem!
I have Debian Linux(64-bit) in VirtualBox.
Ram: 8Gb (for Debian 4Gb)
CPU: i5-3470

For some reason I am unable to to build phantomjs and I can't understand why its not working... Have searched a lot, but couldn't find any thread which would be about this error.

When I executed this command:
./configure --with-openssl-includes=/usr/include/openssl-1.0/ --with-openssl-libraries=/usr/lib/openssl-1.0/
Output was this:

--with-openssl-libraries=/usr/lib/openssl-1.0/: invalid command-line switch

Looks like you are on stretch (or later) and that you are already aware of the libssl vs libssl1.0 case.
Therefore, if you don't have libssl-dev installed, this line will get you further:
python build.py --qt-config "-I /usr/include/openssl-1.0/ -L /usr/lib/openssl-1.0/"
If you already have it installed and my suggestion doesn't work, you can uninstall libssl-dev for the time to build phantomjs which will likely avoid having to play further with configuration related variables.
Okay so i'm trying to install Homebrew, so that I can I can install nodejs and npm. However I'm using this command from brew.sh;

Once I install Homebrew It keeps returning this error
It appears Homebrew is already installed. If your intent is to reinstall you
should do the following before running this installer again:

I honestly have no idea what's happening here. I'm not sure If I have to symlink Homebrew up or what. But I have tried everything I know so far (which isn't much). If anyone could be kind enough to give me instructions as what too look for to solve the issue, I'm all ears.

It seems it's a bug that have been corrected in recent version of OMZ, you should update it.
You get the output:
zsh: command not found: homebrew
Because homebrew is not a command. Try brew -v instead.
To resolve:
Warning: node-5.10.1 already installed, it's just not linked
Use brew link node
Okay so I think I have made some progress, It may have been for some weird reason I didn't have permission writes to run the 'brew link < package > ' so i ran the following command:
'sudo chown -R /usr/local/share/systemtap/tapset && brew doctor'
Once I ran 'brew link node' it successfully created 7 symlinks for the node directory on the following path;
'Linking /usr/local/Cellar/node/5.10.1... 7 symlinks created'
However, when I installed live-server via npm; I typed 'live-server -v' and it again returned 'zsh: command not found: live-server'. In addition to this it keeps telling me I have 'unbrewed dylibs':
Warning: Unbrewed dylibs were found in /usr/local/lib.
If you didn't put them there on purpose they could cause problems when
building Homebrew formulae, and may need to be deleted.
Unexpected dylibs:
/usr/local/lib/libociei.dylib
So im still unsure what the exact issue is.
P.S. Apologies for not posting this correctly, as im trying to see where I can seperate it into commands like you corrected in the first post, if you could link me to a post where it tells me how to use it properly i'll be more than happy to read it.
