Cannot see timeline-posts posted via developer-app - facebook-graph-api

I want to post to facebook company-page via a developer-app. Therefore I created an app and also an access-token with the following permissions:
manage_pages, pages_show_list, publish_pages, public_profile
Posts are successfully created on the company-page via the app.
The problem I have is the following:
Customer is posting on the companies page.
Answer from the company is posted via the api (app).
The customer sees that there is an comment to his initial post but he cannot see the content of the reply.
I'm pretty sure my access-token is missing some permission but I could not find anything related in the facebook api documentation. Or am I wrong and there is another problem?

Make sure the App is public in the App settings: App Review > "Your app is in development and unavailable to the public."
Postings of Development-Apps usually don´t show up for regular users.

Test Facebook Graph API without Page Public Content Access permission

Is there a way to test an app implemented Facebook Graph API required Page Public Content Access permission?
I was testing the {page_id}_{post_id} endpoint in Facebook Graph API Explorer to get a post, but got the error message:
This endpoint requires the 'pages_read_engagement' permission or the 'Page Public Content Access' feature. Refer to https://developers.facebook.com/docs/apps/review/login-permissions#manage-pages and https://developers.facebook.com/docs/apps/review/feature#reference-PAGES_ACCESS for details.
This error applies to both random pages and pages that I own. I couldn't use it at all. The app I've planned to do is mostly based on Facebook posts so I may say this is it's the main function, so I just can't have the app reviewed until I can test this endpoint successfully.
What can I do to make it work? Any help would be appreciated!
It turns out I chose the wrong type to create my facebook app. I chose to create a "Business Connected Experiences" app instead of a "Manage Business Integrations" one, so I couldn't fully access to the permissions I need to query on my own page. The former only doesn't provide me the pages_user_read_content and the likes, so it was unable for me to read comments from posts. Besides, I also use an user token instead of a page token (Thanks Lars for pointing this out for me).
So, I just create a new app with the right type and everything turns out well.
Hope this will help someone someday.

Facebook's Graph API posts are not visible?

I want to publish posts on a page using Facebook API. I’m an admin of the page.
I’ve done these steps:
Created an app in dev mode
Received page access token
Made a post using Facebook Graph API
A post appeared on the page. But unfortunately no one sees it. Only me.
What am I missing? Is it because the app in dev mode? If yes, is there any way to post on a page without app review?

Get instagram ID from facebook graph API without manage_pages permission

I'm creating an app that's using facebook login to get instagram follower insights. Currently I've followed and and successfully made the soloution written here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/instagram-api/getting-started/
But here's the problem. Facebook won't approve the "manage_pages" permission for my app. Without manage_pages I have no idea how to get the instagram account id.
I've tried for a couple of weeks now, and facebook won't give any explanation other than "This permission is not required for your app's intended function, or it doesn't appear to enhance the user experience" and then referencing this https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/permissions
I currently have a facebook support ticket regarding the issue but they haven't replied for almost 2 weeks. And I'm getting a little desperate.
Using below URL for version 3.0 and 3.2 to get the instagram accounts - It works with "manage_permissions" but without it the response is empty.
me/accounts?fields=name,id,access_token,instagram_business_account{id}
Facebook has finally replied to my support ticket and accepted my app review! The approach and guide I was using above was correct.
I have similar problem to get Instagram Id without extra manage_pages permission. I see no point to ask users for manage page permissions (just read it - its includes ads/create/delete etc permissions, crazy) just to get their Instagram accounts id connected to the page. I've found pages_read_engagement permission will provide this data! So, read only permission fixed my problem. Try it! Its better than manage_pages I guess.

Facebook API - Post to page

I'm trying to figure out how to post to my Facebook page automatically from my website. I have a custom CMS written in PHP that I use with my website, and I have already created the Facebook App and set up the necessary App ID and App Secret. I have PHP code written that when I create a page in my CMS, it will take the Page Title and a blurb of the content and create a post in my Facebook page, however because my Facebook App is not live, only I can see the post.
I've tried to apply for my app to go Live, but have been denied because I do not involve a login process. However, I don't want to log in again. That defeats the whole point of having the extended life access token.
Is it possible to do what I am trying to do? Or is there something I need to include in my app review request to have this approved? Any insight would be greatly appreciated, as the response I get from Facebook is rather generic and unhelpful.
Thank you!

Best option to POST on facebook timeline

I need to make POSTs to facebook page timeline (not auto posts, but when a user on an enterprise application submits a form). Note that a user should bot be logged in on facebook!
I've searched a lot and seems i should use graph api to do this... but, it's possible to achieve this without creating a facebook app?
I don't wish any user have this app... i just need to make POSTs to a facebook page that i own. So, it's not a public app.
I've made some tests with graph api explorer, after creating an app, and i'm trying to POST and always get error "An active access token must be used to query information about the current user.".
So, i'm using the correct access token (app access token in this case)... how can i test this? I should have my app submitted to be reviewed already? I just want to make some tests, to see if this actually works as i need to... don't wish to publish app now.
Could someone point me to the right direction?
Thanks!
An App Token is the wrong Token to post to a Page. You would need to use a Page Token for that. At least if you want to post "as Page". If you want to post "as User", you have to use a User Token. Everything you need to know is in the docs: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api/reference/v2.5/page/feed#Creating
