MURA CMS: how to add a page programmatically

So, what can I say? How do I go about adding a page programmatically in MURA CMS? Preferably version 6.1.
I am building a plugin that needs to create a couple of pages in the Site Manager. I want to add this routine in the 'install' method of the 'plugin/plugin.cfc' component.
I have been unable to find any pointers to this on line, which, perhaps, means this particular issue cannot be resolved. But, I live in hope.
Thanks people, in advance, for any help on this one.
When you add content to Mura, the key is that you'll need to know the parentid of where you wish the new content item(s) to live. Other than that, Mura offers an easy way perform CRUD operations on content items. You can read more about it at http://docs.getmura.com/v6/back-end/base-mura-objects-beans/loading-beans/ (based on the version you've specified). I'd also like to point out that the documentation has been greatly expanded in the latest version which can be found at http://docs.getmura.com/v7/mura-developers/mura-beans-objects/common-bean-objects/content-bean/. While the concepts and syntax still apply to older version, some newer methods for working with Mura content objects have been added since v6.1. I also highly recommend upgrading soon, as v7.1 is about to be released as well (as of Feb. 2018).
That said, the only two required fields/attributes are title and parentid. Here's the basic code for being able to do what you need:
// load the parent content item
parentBean = $.getBean('content').loadBy(title='Home');
// you may want to verify the `parentBean` actually exists before proceeding
if ( parentBean.getIsNew() ) {
Throw(message='parentBean does NOT exist!');
}
// v6.1 syntax
newBean = $.getBean('content')
.setValue('title', 'Some Title')
.setValue('parentid', parentBean.getContentID())
.save();
// v7.0+ syntax
newBean = $.getBean('content')
.set('title', 'Some Title')
.set('parentid', parentBean.get('contentid'))
.save();
// after saving, you can check for errors
if ( !StructIsEmpty(newBean.getErrors()) ) {
WriteDump(var=newBean.getErrors(), abort=true);
}
You could clearly set other attributes (as defined in the earlier links) as well, if desired.
Cheers!

Writing a Custom Condition in WSO2 CEP

I want to extend the Wso2 CEP product in our needs and try to write a custom condition as indicated in this official wso2 cep link.
However it says that "This is the latest, released WSO2 Complex Event Processor documentation (Version 2.1.0)." at the top of the page, it seems that it is outdated or having wrong information.
For example it says that,
To write a custom condition, create a class extending "org.wso2.siddhi.core.executor.conditon.AbstractGenericConditionExecutor", add the SiddhiExtionsion annotation, compile that class, and add the jar file to the class path /repertory/components/lib. Then add the fully-qualified class name for the implementation class in a new line, to the siddhi.extension file located at /repertory/conf/siddhi.
(I am assuming "repertory" is "repository"). There is no file or directory in official WSO2 CEP package as "/repertory/conf/siddhi" or "siddhi.extension", (wso2cep-2.1.0).
Is there a thing that i missed in this documentation, if not, can you recommend a new documentation about to write a custom condition in WSO2 CEP?
It is a bug, there is a folder called "sidddhi" in the , it needs to be "siddhi" (this is a small typo error).. Please change that directory name to "siddhi" and perform your task ("sidddhi" to "siddhi")...
Yes.. I have corrected the doc also with the correct "repository"... Thanks for the notification...

Mohan

Correct yummly API call for a recipe

I'm trying to use the Yummly API. I've noticed that some of their developers have answered other questions here, so I'm hoping to catch their eye. I used the documentation at the yummly developer site https://developer.yummly.com/documentation#IDs.
Specifically here is my get request:
<http://api.yummly.com/v1/api/recipe/Avocado-cream-pasta-sauce-recipe-306039>
Which returns this:
Please include X-Yummly-App-ID and X-Yummly-App-Key
Seems like this is a sensible thing, except that I don't see anywhere in the documentation for the single recipe call where I'm supposed to insert that info. Any one out there know how to properly format this?
or include them as URL parameters:
_app_id=app-id&_app_key=app-key
https://developer.yummly.com/documentation#IDs
Try this:
http://api.yummly.com/v1/api/recipe/Avocado-cream-pasta-sauce-recipe-306039?_app_id=ID&_app_key=KEY
You need to take the URL you mentioned in the question and add your authentication parameters to it. So it becomes:
http://api.yummly.com/v1/api/recipe/Avocado-cream-pasta-sauce-recipe-306039?_app_id=ID&_app_key=KEY
Instead of ID and KEY insert the application id and key from your account on developer.yummly.com

FaceBook Graph API: Search beyond immediate circle

Is it possible to search for users which are beyond my immediate circle using FB graph API?
If not, does having a paid subscription account help to overcome this hurdle?
I'm using following graph query but seems to be restricted within my circle:
https://graph.facebook.com/search?q=xx+yy&limit=5000&type=user&access_token=*
Also if I increase the offset using pagination in the next call, It will still returns the same set of user IDs. So not sure if I'm passing the parameters incorrectly or missing some other parameters.
Thanks for all your help in advance!
Not sure what you mean by your immediate circle in terms of Facebook but I assume you mean your friends. The Graph API allows you to search for all public objects (source) - this means every person (according to answers on this page since names are always publicly available - that's my understanding), not only people who you are friends with on Facebook.
Hence, when you're searching for "John" you should get everyone called John if you're using the Graph API correctly - make sure your access token is valid (you do not need any special permissions to search for people) and your syntax follows the example from here.
In order to test your query I suggest you use the Graph API Explorer before adding the query to your application code. It's a quick way to see if the error is in your query or elsewhere. For example, if you want to find everyone named John, use this link http://developers.facebook.com/tools/explorer?method=GET&path=search%3Fq%3DJohn%26type%3Duser. Just make sure to click Get access token on the right if you're using the Explorer for the first time, otherwise the query will return an error.

Post a new note specifying privacy

I'm trying to post a note using Facebook Graph API.
I would like to restrict the note visibility to myself only.
Therefore I am passing the following param: privacy={'value':'SELF'}
Unfortunately it is still created with the EVERYONE privacy.
Do you know if there is a way to specify privacy when creating a note?
Thanks
As far as I can tell from the documentation, "privacy" doesn't exist as a field for notes, so I don't believe it's possible. Here's the reference: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/api/note/
