ROS/Eclipse: Help needed for launching ROS program in Eclipse - c++

hopefully someone can help with me this:
Im trying to build and launch my ROS package within eclipse.
I have followed the tutorial from the ROS homepage.
So far eclipse has found the package and its dependencies. (Eclipse
doesnt show any errors).
Also it's possible to build the workspace without error, although I am not sure
if it doing it correctly. When I'm trying to launch (I did a configuration file as the tutorial said) it shows following message:
< terminated > (exit value -1) stargazer_stargazer Configuration [C++ App] /home/.../app/gtest/libgtest.so
followed this tutorial: http://wiki.ros.org/IDEs#Reusing_your_shell.27s_environment

Figured it out. Seemed that the problem wasnt a problem. You have to configure your launch file at first in Eclipse so that Eclipse will be able to find the roslaunch in /bin folder.

Running projects from QtCreator after cmake install

have some real trouble with QtCreator on ubuntu 18 and was wondering if anyone could give me any help. This morning I installed cmake for another project I was working on, now when I try to run a project in qtcreator it is trying to deploy it via FTP, even though it is a Qt c++ project. I dont know if this is anything to do with cmake, but this worked last night before I installed it. My question is, can anybody explain to me how to run a project from QtCreator, on the local system( Terminal or otherwise, doesnt matter ) without any deployment issues. Im sorry if this is a stupid question, but I am extremely grateful for any hep
In a console, you can just cd into the project directory (where the .pro file resides) and execute "qmake" and then "make". That should compile your executable which you can then run using "./[executable filename]" or "/[path]/[executable filename]". Also, on the console you might see where this FTP transfer comes from. Also, in QtCreator you can set the build system and change that from cmake to something else to see if its a cmake problem.
So, not sure how this issue came up, but I have found a workaround after much trial and error. Open a project, In the left tab click Projects and under build and run select Run. In this menu deploy steps have already been added when i create a project, so these need to be deleted. Now in the Run section on the same screen Click add -> Custom executable and select the file that has already been built for the project in question. In my case this solves the above problem, but does not explain why QtCreator is trying to deploy C++ projects via FTP. If anyone out there is struggling with this issue feel free to post a question here and I will assist as much as possible!

Codelite isn´t responding when I run it after build

I am using Codelite for the first time. I can successfully build code, but Codelite remains unresponsive to the Run command (or to ctrl+F5). Below is the screenshot of the build log.
enter image description here
What could possibly be the cause of this issue? i can´t find any documentation on the subject.
Codelite version : 11.0.8

Eclipse c++ build error. Permission deinied

After a war against Eclipse and MinGW, I managed to build a hello world program in Eclipse but now I am getting an annoying error. Sometimes when I try to build something I get:
cannot open output file *.exe: Permission denied
I have seen some answers around about this issue but none solved the problem. So here is some aditional info.
1) Usually, the first build works.
2) There is no process stuck in the task manager (as some suggessted).
3) I am using Windows 8 and MinGw.
4) No binary folder nor executable is created.
5) This problem happens chronologically.
Changed from MinGW to Cygwin and it worked.

"Launch failed. Binary not found." error on CDT Kepler Eclipse

Running or debugging anything gives me an extremely frustrating "Launch failed. Binary not found" error. I'm using Eclipse with a CDT plugin installed (specifically, I have the MinGW package installed).
I already tried setting both the user and system PATH variables to include my (MinGW directory)/bin
I also tried building the program before running it.
I also made sure that PE Windows Parser under the project's settings was enabled.
I went to Project Properties > Run/Debug Settings > New > C/C++ Application > Environment > Select > and I selected the Path
I also tried setting the C/C++ Application in the Main tab to the executable file that is made from building the program, but no such file is made when I do build my program. I seriously doubt that this is what's causing the problem, though.
I'm running out of options, and the problem still persists. What else needs to be done? What am I doing wrong?
When I was looking through the install instructions for MinGW, the tutorial referenced the mingw base package as the package to install after installing MinGW. But mingw base was not available to me. Instead, I saw mingw32 base. Could it be that Eclipse, a 64 bit program, is trying to run 32 bit code? Is that what's going on? If that's the problem, how do I fix it?
Build
Refresh the project. A new folder named Binaries will appear now in project explorer.
Now Run :)
It took me 3 days to figure out my problem. My Hello World C program would compile in eclipse using the Windows PE Parser, but there was NO EXE FILE!!!! AVAST Antivirus was identifying the exe file as a false positive and removing it....grrrrr. The solution was to add the eclipse workspace folder to the exclusions list. Voila!! Eclipse generated my test.exe file.
save the file first before you build and run... it works with me
Check the compiler you set while you created the project . If that is MINGW or Visual Studio ; check whether they are downloaded or not . If not do so and start a new project by closing the old one . Build the new project by pressing Ctrl + B and a new file 'Binaries' is created in the package explorer . Now you can use the run option to run the project .
First the solution: install "make"
I had the same issue.
I also tried the steps you did with no luck.
After some time i found a the solution!
The problem was that i did not have the application "make".
Apparently its not installed by default on Cygwin and eclipse doesn't give any indication for that...

Eclipse CDT C++ - [Main] program not specified

Hi This is my first time working with C++ on eclipse. I'm using cygwin.
I'm just trying to create a simple hello world program. The build is successful but when I try to run, it says "launch failed. binary not found".
In settings which I check the run configuration, there's nothing listed on clicking "search project..". Am I doing something wrong?
Would really appreciate any help on this. Thanks!
You probably found your solution, but here's for anyone else who might have the same problem:
If you want to use cygwin toolchain then you'll have to build a makefile first, and then build your project. You can follow the official guide here: http://help.eclipse.org/indigo/index.jsp (C/C++ Development User Guide >> Getting Started >> Creating a Makefile project)
If you don't mind changing the cygwin toolchain: The fastest way to build and run a C/C++ project would be to create another project, this time un-ticking the show project types and choose as MINGW GCC toolchain (check 1st image below). After you create your project, you just right click on project and choose the rebuild option (check 2nd image below).
