Nagios : webinject using svc - web-services

I try to use webinject with nagios to test a Web Services.
The url is : http://lptvmthdws1:6520/WS_ADVService.svc
Or when i try to test it with webinject i have this issue : Failed HTTP Response Code Verification (HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error)
I have other WebServices on this server and they work, but the extension is not the same : http://lptvmthdws1:6401/Activation.asmx.
So my question is, if i can use webinject with ".svc" ?
Sorry for my bad english.
Thanks.

I find a solution.
In my case test, i had an option : addheader="SOAPAction: http://tempuri.org/?????/methodToCall"
i catch this information with SoapUI when you execute a request in the section "Raw"
If someone need i can show the code.

Postman auto response

I'm new with Postman and I don't know how should this be done (if applicable).
Is there a way in Postman to have it "auto response" if it received a request for a specific API (ex: return error 404)? In Fiddler this is called "Autoresponder" but I can't find any similar feature in Postman app.
Any suggestion is highly appreciated.
Thanks!
Yes, Postman has a feature called as 'Mocks'.
In mocks, you can basically define a mock url and the response that it would send when somebody hits that URL.
For eg. your endpoint is: /user/info and method is 'GET'
Then you can define the mock to return a status code of 200 and response as { id: 1 }
The mock url's are hosted by Postman itself and you can use it in your app / anywhere you like.
The docs around mocks are really helpful: https://learning.getpostman.com/docs/postman/mock_servers/intro_to_mock_servers/
Additionally:
In case you're using the desktop app for Postman (latest v7.0.6) then you can you take a real-time lesson tour to learn about Mocks in Postman.
Steps to take the lesson:
Click on 'Bootcamp' / 'Learn' (v6)
Click on 'Designing and mocking APIs'
There are two lessons which will run you through mocks - how to create and use them. You can try both of them.

How to send a webservice request in jmeter to https rather than http

I have created a new project using the template 'Building a SOAP WebService Test Plan' in jmeter (followed the steps in the tutorial from the apache jmeter website to set this up). The responses aren't being accepted and in the results log I am seeing the message:
1446205258738,20995,Soap Request,Non HTTP response code: org.apache.http.conn.HttpHostConnectException,Non HTTP response message: Connection to http://(server name).com refused,Number of Users 1-10,text,false,2273,1,1,0
It's making the connection to http rather than https which I think is why the connection is not being made. Is there anyway to change this? I've tried using the different implementations in the soap request but this hasn't worked, currently using HttpClient4.
Please see the http request details
HTTP REQUEST DETAILS
As per #Rage answer (who should answer in response not comment , I'll be happy to remove my answer if he does), just change :
Protocol [http] value to https
See:
As per your last comment, you modified to https and now you face another issue , getting a 404.
So most probably your Path or Server Name or IP are wrong, as the hoster or developer for the correct connection informations.

What are the usage limitations of Bitly shortening API?

I've tried Bitly's shortening API to shorten some URL's and after signing up and getting a username/API key, I've been able to shorten URL's in my local computer. But once, the code got deployed to a test server, the shortening fails. Any idea on what could possibly the source for this, or how to track the problem?
Try using PostMan ( chrome ) or HTTP Requestor ( firefox / my preference ) to post the JSON request you are sending to the API, review the error code and see if it has any useful errors (http://jsonformatter.curiousconcept.com/ is nice for reviewing it ).
Alternatively if you have no UI in the server use a CURL request from the server.
What language are you sending this in by the way? I am assuming JSON (not XML) is being sent eventually? What kind of server is it? Could you post the error code please?
Best of Luck!

Testlink (1.9.12) automation integration error

I'm getting the following error when trying to connect to my testlink server after a test run:
br.eti.kinoshita.testlinkjavaapi.util.TestLinkAPIException: Error verifying developer key: Failed to read server's response: http
here is the string i use to create the testlink connection :
http://usrname:test#http://{ip_server}/testlink/lib/api/xmlrpc/v1/xmlrpc.php
Anyone could know what I'm doing wrong
The URL is invalid format!
http://usrname:test#{ip_server}/testlink/lib/api/xmlrpc/v1/xmlrpc.php
The extra "http://" in the middle does not belong!

What causes Jetty BadMessage: 400 No Host?

I'm runny Jetty 9.0.6.v20130930 via Maven with the command mvn jetty:run.
Looking through my server logs, every couple of days I'm getting this message:
2014-01-28 00:57:47.659:WARN:oejh.HttpParser:qtp975361377-71: BadMessage: 400 No Host for HttpChannelOverHttp#66a7150e{r=0,a=IDLE,uri=-}
I haven't been able to replicate it, and it doesn't appear to happening in the vicinity of any other requests, which I would expect if there were someone using the site. What I'd like to know is what might be causing it, and what the user (if there is one) is seeing when it happens?
maybe somebody post streaming request to your website. for example: a websocket handshake request.
