I would like to deploy a Django application in a production environment (Windows Server 2012 R2).
I am unable to configure modwsgi for a WAMP server.
There are a few posts for this topic, however it seems that all are old and not applicable now. All the posts say that I should have the .so file of modwsgi, but I am unable to find this file.
I have downloaded the source code for modwsgi and also .whl file, but don't know how to configure.
System configuration is as follows:
Operating System: Windows Server 2012 R2 (64 bit)
WAMP Server 2.5
Python 3.4
Django 1.7
Have you looked at the official mod_wsgi download area at all?

All the release notes specifically say to read:

I am trying to deploy a django project using POSTGIS on my windows 11 PC with Apache 2.4.
The web page is working as long as I am not using 'django.contrib.gis'.
When I add 'django.contrib.gis' to my INSTALLED_APPS and define GDAL_LIBRARY_PATH to point to my gdal installation things stop working.
Specifically, trying to access the web app ends up in infinitely loading the page. Weird enough there are no errors in the apache error log. The apache service starts fine.
As far as I can see gdal install is correct as the app is working fine on the same machine with the same python environment with the django development server.
Actually, I have the same issue with other python libraries that need some dlls, like opencv.
So my guess is that it is a security related issue, but I do not find any clues on how to solve it.
Any ideas?
I tried also to grant rights to the directory where gdal is install in apache conf. But no luck.
Goal:
Run cfquery of remote server on local Coldfusion install.
Problem/Symptoms:
The cfquery parameters are printing onto the screen, instead of running query on remote.Example of cfquery parameter printout on screen
Facts:
Running Mac OS X Mojave (10.14.3).
Coldfusion is installed. I can access the CF Admin panel at http://localhost:8500/CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm
Data Source is installed in Coldfusion Admin and status is "OK"
Using Mamp Pro 5.3. It's running -- can start and stop Apache.
Apache is running on port 80
Updated ODBC Actual SQL Server drivers (Version 4.2.0 from ActualTech). Tested connection to server with driver and it is working.
Remote database is using port 1433
I'm sure there are more questions to answer, but hopefully that's a decent start. What am I doing wrong?
Update: 3/17/2019
Feeling stuck here. I've uninstalled and reinstalled CF2018 and MAMP Pro. I've used the wsconfig applet for Adobe Coldfusion (ACF) as described by Brian Lang and I've also tried the manual approach as described by Adobe.
Update: 4/19/2019
I may have figured this out, now that there is a release of Mac OS 10.14.4. Going to test it on another computer to confirm that the process works and that I have all the steps documented, then will share answers.
The solution to this problem had to do with a conflict with Mac OS X and Coldfusion/Apache. Because Mac OS X 10.14.4 fixed the "mod_jk" file that was conflicting with Apache, Coldfusion 2018 can now run on Mac OS X.
In order to solve the problem, I needed to:
upgrade Mac OS X to 10.14.4
stop all other servers
install Coldfusion 2018
set up Coldfusion Apache Connector
set up local virtual host
I confirmed that it worked on another computer, and have documented detailed instructions in this post: https://www.steckinsights.com/configuring-coldfusion-2018-with-apache-on-mac-os-x-mojave/
Fair warning: I think that the mod_jk issue in Mac OS 10.14.3 and prior was the issue, but there were so many different aspects I tested in the process, that there may be unique issues related to your particular computer's configuration. I hope hope this helps anyone out there having issues.
I have a error installing "wfastcgi 2.1 gateway for iis and python 2.7.9" in IIS, to deploy an app django in windows 10.
I can not download the installer (see the image).
enter image description here
Please, have someone the installer?
Thanks in advance!
That looks like Web Platform Installer. That feed is not maintained anymore, and it points to files on CodePlex which no longer exist now that CodePlex is closed/archived.
We recommend you install from https://pypi.org/project/wfastcgi/ instead, using pip.
I have a question about run django project in production on my windows server 2008. I tried to run it with apache but I can't get the mod_wsgi.so file for my apache server.
Is is possible to do it with cherrypy or can i get some advice for an other solution or get the correct mod_wsgi.so file to run my apache server with this module.
Thanks in advance
We are attempting to migrate our old web server to a new web server. We are trying to install Effalre's CFX_ImageCR3 tag on our Windows Server 2008 R2 64 Bit server running ColdFusion 10 64-Bit.
We've installed the latest setup file from Efflare's website and have registered the CFX C++ Tag in the ColdFusion administrator just as the documentation describes, but when the code that uses the CFX_ImageCR3 tag executes, it says "Unable to load library."
After searching Google, one person recommended we run Dependency Walker to see what DLL's were missing. On the new server, it says the following 'delay-load dependency module was not found'
- GPSVC.DLL
- IESHIMS.DLL
- MF.DLL
- MFPLAT.DLL
- MFREADWRITE.DLL
- WLANAPI.DLL
For comparison, I ran the same program on the old server on which that CFX tag is working. It reported that GPSVC.DLL and IESHIMS.DLL could not load, but the other ones could.
Both of the servers are running the same Operation Systems and the only difference is Cold Fusion 10. Is it possible that I'm just missing some DLLs on the new server? Could it be that it is not compatible with ColdFusion 10 64-Bit? Can you load 32-bit DLL CFX C++ tags on a 64-bit install of CF?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Solution found. It appears that the C++ CFX tax is 32 bit and is compatible with ColdFusion 64-bit version. Effalre currently has a beta installer on their VIP download site, cfx_imagecr_3_service_beta_081030.exe, which is the Java tag.
This was a bit tricky to figure out at first, but once you install the beta make sure you follow these steps:
Install the beta installer to C:\efflare\ (Do not install to C:\Program Files (x86)!)
Start the windows service 'Efflare ImageCR 3 Service'
Open the CF Administrator then goto Java and JVM, in the ColdFusion Class Path add: {applicatino.home}/wwwroot/WEB-INF/lib,C:/Efflare/imagecr3.jar
Restart ColdFusion
NOTE: The class path if for the default ColdFusion 10 install. The first path must point to the directory where you have a cfx.jar file. If you get the error -java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError Exception com/allaire/cfx/CustomTag it is because the class path is not pointing to where the cfx.jar file is located at.
