Has somebody successfully profiled Mule standalone CE v3.4 using Yourkit?
The Mule documentation: http://www.mulesoft.org/documentation/display/current/Profiling+Mule# has a download page link to download the Profiler Pack for Mule Community Edition but that link does not seem to work.
What are the exact steps to be followed for remotely profiling Mule standalone server CE using Yourkit?
You don't need the profiler pack anymore to profile Mule applications. Start Mule Standalone CE, then start YourKit and select MuleContainerBootstrap from the running JVMs list.
Please use "Remote Attach Wizard" http://www.yourkit.com/docs/java/help/attach_wizard.jsp

I'm currently following the WSO2 documentation on installing the BPS tooling plugin and the link given for the BPS tooling is not working(Step 4).
https://docs.wso2.com/display/BPS360/Installing+the+BPS+Tooling+Plug-In
Any resolution or an alternative method to install the same is highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
You should not be referring to these documents. These are for the old BPS server, which was later merged with EI and now it's discontinued. BPMN and BPEL extensions are already there in Integration Studio, hence you don't have to install any additional plugins. You can simply create a new project with the relevant type and start building your workflows. Here are tutorials you can refer to.
I have installed Talend Studio for ESB and I am working on Restful web services. At first, can someone explain to me how to deploy a web service in Talend studio .Secondly, I don't find Runtime_ESBSE that contains Talend Runtime in my installation folder.
Note : I am working on debian environment.
please follow this link for local deployment of the webservices in the studio itself. If you are not able to find the components as per steps.I think your installation has some issue.
I would suggest you to elaborate your problem by putting your design screenshots or some error logs.

I recently working on a Windows 8.1 App, which was developed with C# and XAML. SharePoint Online is used for Data store.
I searched and found that Wictor solution can be used for Authentication. but the problem is that we can not use Wictor solution [http://www.wictorwilen.se/Post/How-to-do-active-authentication-to-Office-365-and-SharePoint-Online.aspx] directly as it is built upon .Net framework and Metro Apps are built upon .NetCore.
One possible option is to use WCF service and have whole Wictor solution in WCF service then call WCF service from Windows App. I tested it and it is working fine.
However, I wanted to know what would be the best approach available if I don't want to deploy this WCF separately. In future I have to publish this Win App on Windows store.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
VS Studio 2005
I have developed an application that will need to access a web service.
I will be developing the web service. However, the platform will be Ubuntu running Apache Tomcat server.
I have 2 questions:
1) Can I deploy a MS XML web service to run on a Ubuntu Server?
2) If I can't. I will have to develop a Java Web Service. However, my application that is written in VS C# 2005 will need to access it will be a windows application. How can my application access a Java Web Service?
Many thanks for any advice,
If you want cross-platform compatibility, you can only deploy .net code that runs under Mono. The best way to check this is to actually develop the code under Mono and use Mono to test it. So, don't use Visual Studio. Sorry.
There is no problem with interfacing pieces of code written in two different languages. You can use XMLRPC, a RESTful API, or a proprietary protocol. I'm sure there are other ways for the two to "talk", as well.
I am working on Silverlight client to Microsoft Team Foundation Server. I am using an ASMX web service to make the actual calls using the TFS api.
Everything works fine when I run it with the visual studio development server, but I cannot figure out how to deploy the app to IIS.
I can get the ASMX web service to work unless it is a call that uses the TFS api. I have tried putting all of the TFS api DLLs in like every directory that I can think of, and even installing the visual studio sdk. Nothing works!
UPDATE 11/15/09 7:50PM EST:
Turns out that the TFS api was trying to create a cache at c:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Team Foundation\2.0\Cache\, and the IIS_WPG user didn't have access to do so. Easy fix.
The only supported way of installing the TFS API is to install Team Explorer. You could try to GAC just the assemblies you need, but you're on your own [and technically violating the EULA]...
Other things to check:
IIS is running in 32 bit mode
Impersonation is working correctly
Proxy settings
What error do you get? Have you tried attaching a debugger to IIS?
