I have looked through all possible MSDN articles, and have browsed a lot of web content in order to find tutorial on usage of the class CMFCToolbar.
There is very little information, and it almost is about basic features of the class.
I am looking for the following info:
General question:
How to implement a toolbar with custom images (bitmaps that are loaded from a file) that is based on the CMFCToolbar.
Sub-questions:
What methods I need to overload, what other classes I need to use
(do I need CMFCToolBarButton, CMFCToolBarImages).
Could you please give me references on tutorials, or provide information based on your experience.
Thank you in advance!
The Feature Pack controls (CMFCToolbar) are part of the BCG toolkit. You oshould be able to find information and samples at their web site.

We are trying to create custom tag repository in Sitecore instance. In order to create the repository, we would need to implement ITagRepository interface and its methods.
But we couldn't find any online references detailing the implementation details and how to go about it.
Any pointers or references are welcomed and deeply appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
I haven't used the new Sitecore content search, but as a general Sitecore tip; if you inspect the Sitecore DLLs with JetBrains dotPeek you should be able to get an idea of their inner workings.
Things I was able to find:
The interface Sitecore.Buckets.Interfaces.ITagRepository can be found in Sitecore.Buckets.dll
An implementation of this interface exists in Sitecore.Buckets.Search.Tags.SitecoreHostedTagRepository (also in Sitecore.Buckets.dll). This could be a good place to start when creating your own implementation.
There is some documentation here: Developer's Guide to Item Buckets and Search. (I think you will need an account on sdn.sitecore.net to view this).
Is it possible? If so please provide a working example.
I have come across this function which can use the SCREEN_PROPERTY_BRIGHTNESS to apparently change a windows brightness. However, I have had no success using this as there are no noticeable differences. In the comments below, see two other people who have had a similar issue (posted on the BlackBerry Support Forums). According to one user, the SCREEN_PROPERTY_BRIGHTNESS property does not work. Can anyone verify that or provide an alternative solution?
Your first link is to a page that does not exist. On the page from the second link there are to things. The property you want is probably SCREEN_PROPERTY_INTENSITY, but the documentation goes on to say
Full read/write access to Screen API object properties is product
dependent.
A project I am working on makes extensive use of CFCHART. We have run into quite a few usage and performance issues with CFCHART, so I have been tasked to look at some third-party solutions to try out and recommend. Anybody have some reviews and recommendations they'd care to share?
Consider outputting the raw data and using JavaScript / Canvas to generate the charts on the fly. The load is the given to the client.
This makes it easier for screenreaders and people who like to save the data to access it as well.
Some JS charting libraries:

Not dependent on your server side technology (e.g. irrelevant to the fact that you're using CF), I have recently started playing around with HighCharts (http://www.highcharts.com/), and have been very impressed.
Bear in mind, it's not free for commercial use, but you didn't specify as to any such restrictions. Although their pricing seems pretty fair (see http://www.highcharts.com/license)
The Wijmo jQuery library has some nice charting widgets. http://wijmo.com/
We use FusionCharts. They have a comprehensive set of chart and widget types (eg sparklines) and have a very slick, professional finish.
ChartDirector is reasonable and is very advanced. It generates image-based graphs and we don't have to worry about whether or not different browsers support various advanced HTML features or Flash. You can download it, install and run it unlicensed and it will only add a little copyright in the bottom-right 20 pixels of the graph. (Licensing is inexpensive.) It comes with 239+ ColdFusion scripts so that you have plenty of sample code. Their support forums is very active and helpful.

Check out the gallery. It has some very impressive samples. You can create just about anything.

You can try jqChart as well.
Thank you to everyone for these suggestions! This gives me a good list of applications to work with. Since there is no one "right" answer for a question like this I made sure to note each answer as useful.
I know this has been asked twice before but both had no proper replies and are dated so in case someone has found something in these days, I'm asking again!.
Any one knows any good tutorial for MSHTML or some open source project which can be read to understand how various operations can be done in MSHTML - MFC?
Thanks
Your question makes it difficult to know exactly what you are trying to do, but the main MFC class that you need to use is CHtmlView. The MSDN has the definitive sources of information about it:
CHtmlView class
Creating a Web
Browser-Style MFC Application
Using MFC to Host a WebBrowser Control
If you find those links a bit terse, then this page contains some slightly friendlier articles:
Advanced CHtmlView Hosting
However, I would also ask whether you are definitely 100% sure that you want to use MFC?
The reason I ask is because I've worked for a number of years on an open-source project that hosts the Microsoft WebBrowser control and we saw significant performance improvements when we stripped out MFC from the project. The MFC abstractions weren't really buying us anything over the COM interfaces that are exposed by the control. Stripping out the MFC also made our code much simpler.
The project is open source, so if you want to see the code for yourself, you can get more information here. It is specifically the LibRender project that hosts the WebBrowser control. If you want to see it running, you should build the SWViewer solution.
The one place I like to visit for MFC is Newcomer's site There are some useful tutorials and demos of various things there. Although its more of a general MFC site, so maybe you can find what you are looking for there.
We have used Infragistics controls in our applications for years. However, we have always had a hard time getting started using controls, because of the samples and documentation. For those of you that use Infragistics controls, what is the best way you have found to use the samples and documentation? For those of you that do not, what other control packages have you found that have good documentation and are easy to use?
I have to be honest say that we gave up on the Infragistics stuff a few years back.
We flirted with ComponentArt then settled on the TeleRik controls, mainly because of ease of use, flexibility and the documentation is pretty good.
Been working with Infragistics stuff for awhile now. Usually I check out the samples to see what the controls can do, then when I need something specific, if I can't easily find it perusing with the object browser, then I simply ask their support. They are quick to respond and know their stuff like expected.
You can also search their forums but I find it lacks content; maybe because most of their users prefer asking the support staff.
Not sure, if you are still using Infragistics, but the link to their online documentation is here
I've used ComponentArt and they have pretty decent api docs
