Timeout after few commits VisualSVN and TortoiseSVN - django

my problem is as followed:
I am working on a django project atm and am using VisualSVN server (newest version 2.7.4) on my Windows Home Server 2010 for version control. On my Win 8.1 laptop I am programming and commiting files with TortoiseSVN (Version 1.8.5).
After start, I can commit about 2-3 times and then I get a timeout. I already increased the timeout and keepalive time on the server side, but no change. The Repobrowser is still working. I can make a new checkout without problems. Just commiting is making issues.
Filesizes are max of 100KB.
There shouldn't be a timeout then.
Hopefully someone can give me an advise.
Greets,
Christian

Visual Studio 2017 installer extremely slow

I tried to install the latest VS 2017 Update yesterday and since then I cannot get it to finish this.
This worked pretty fine in the last months and stopped working yesterday.
I already tried to do the following:
Uninstall VS 2017
Remove folder %PROGRAMFILESx86%\Microsoft Visual Studio\2017
Remove folder %PROGRAMDATA%\Microsoft\Visual Studio
Restart machine
I have a 50 MBit/s download rate and all other apps are working just fine. If I look into the logs I can see failed downloads when I abort the instalation. When I pick one of the URLs there and just download the vsix directly via the browser it just works.
Is there any caching or network setting that might be useful in this case?
UPDATE
I have tried 2 downloads (WLAN) from MS servers right now:
Has MS issues on certain download servers maybe and what to do or whom to tell in those cases?
I had the same problem with VS2017 Preview. I disabled IPV6 in the network adapter properties. After that the installer ran with full download speed.
After some heavy investigation and because of the feedback of trinitrotoluol I solved the issue by using an external VPN endpoint. That means, that my German hoster (Telekom) has got problems with some Microsoft download-servers. We contacted them but (not very suprisingly) there is no way to encourage them to examine their network a little bit deeper. So turns out that we have to wait until they fix this back or use a VPN client for such cases.
change download location via hosts (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc) entries:
I checked alternative servers with ping-test.ru
For example:
93.184.215.201 download.visualstudio.microsoft.com
or
68.232.34.200 download.visualstudio.microsoft.com
or
192.229.232.200 download.visualstudio.microsoft.com
or
27.22.54.160 download.visualstudio.microsoft.com

A timeout occur while attempting to local fusebox

I have a fusebox application setup on coldfusion 9 and it is in production mode. When application got started, it is giving me following error.

I have increased the timeout but that not help. Also tried other solution but nothing help.
There is one more thing. When i increased the JVM heap size from 1-2 gb to 2-3 gb. Then after restart of coldfusion service, Error remain for 1-2 hour and then site start working.
It also stop working after running for more than half day correctly. Then i get 504 gateway error and i have to restart the service again.
Can any one guide me to solve this problem?
Which FB version are you running? Is it set to production or development mode? If set to development, try setting it to production mode.

ColdFusion 10 multi-instance on development install

So I am using ColdFusion 10 on Windows 7 64-bit machine. I have installed CF10 developer edition, now I am trying to create a second instance. I Add the instance in ColdFusion admin, then go into the Number folder and run the webconfig tool and add the site. When I go to services to start this new instance service, it does not start, it gives me an error.
App log:
The description for Event ID 256 from source ColdFusion 10 Application Server perm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
Can anyone help me get the second instance working, or is this really not allowed in the dev edition?
If I can get this working for ColdFusion 10, I want to get ColdFusion 11 working with 2 instances next.
I was able to work with the adobe install team, and they helped me figure out my web config connectors were messed up, and there was a random cfide folder in the site causing confusion and delay. I am up and running now.

Android hacking no longer work on XE12 (Settings.apk and Launcher2.apk)

I got my glass around thanksgiving last year. I downloaded Settings.apk and Launcher2.apk from www.glassxe.com. My project needs to communication through Bluetooth data channel. With these two apks, it works fine.
This week, I connected the glass to my PC and it started auto upgrade, after the upgrade (XE12 firmware), the above two apks no longer work. I had to uninstall them.
I am wondering how can I make them work under XE12?
Or how can I downgrade back to early versions of firmware?
BTW, my platform is Win 7, and adb seems working, but fastboot not working after XE12 upgrade.
Thanks in advance,
Xd
It is worth noting that if your application includes the the Settings Intent filter and you have it on your Glass with XE12 it will break the Settings Bundle -- when you tap on Settings no apps will show up and you won't be able to go to the regular settings options such as Wifi, Bluetooth etc. This seems to be new behaviour in XE12 -- previously in XE11 this wasn't a problem.
The solution is to remove the Settings Intent filter from your application and launch your application only from the Voice Trigger method documented here:
https://developers.google.com/glass/develop/gdk/input/voice

CF Service continuously restarts every 25 seconds

After my laptop froze yesterday I rebooted, and now the ColdFusion 9 Application Server service starts and restarts endlessly! Although it's set to start automatically, upon bootup it does not start. So I start it manually. Then I look at the Windows Event Viewer which reports:
The ColdFusion 9 Application Server service for the "coldfusion" server was started. PID is 5788.
That's good. But then, about 9 seconds later, Event Viewer reports:
The ColdFusion 9 Application Server service for the "coldfusion" server is restarting.
16 seconds later, the Event Viewer reports that the service has, in fact, started again. And 9 seconds after that, it reports that the service is starting again.
Unless I manually stop the service, this cycle continues, with the CF service restarting itself every 25 seconds, give or take a second. Needless to say, I can't use ColdFusion. When I try to reach a page, I get error 500: There is no web application configured to service your request
I am running the developer edition of CF9, Windows. Computer behaves normally otherwise.
[Edit]
The coldfusion-out.log includes this:

The detailed error report, C:\ColdFusion9\runtime\bin\hs_err_pid5456.log, has a ton of information, but I don’t understand much of it. I’ll be happy to post it all if you think you might be able to make heads or tails of it.
In the event that the only solution is to reinstall CF, can you tell me where to find the config files? I know I will need jrun-web.xml (and I know where it is), but where, for example, are the datasource definitions found? I can’t seem to find any folder or file with the settings from the CF Admin. (The CF Admin won’t run, so I can’t view them that way.)
