The intent is to ask a user if they want to play, output options, receive userinput and then simulate a 'roll' the appropriately sided dice. Output the results, and then ask for another choice, etc.
The first cycle of the program works as it should, but instead of it asking if you want to play again it is blank. If you enter a number to select the dice it will output how many sides the first dice had no matter what is chosen.

Would that go at the end of the code? Not in every case statement. Also if I do that would I even need to put the while/do into functions?
This has nothing do with looping.
Try printout out the values obtained from your cin's and you'll see the problem.
You use your goto statement inconsistently, you only return to START in your first case
You don't properly terminate your switch statement
You should just about never use a goto unless you can't do it any other way.
This is horribly written. Why do you need to duplicate everything in each case statement? Seems like you only need to use the switch for setting the value of numberSides and the print out.. The rest should be common... I don't think you need the variables either... see my raw refactor just of your code to simply things...

So i have to code the dice game LCR for a final prject but am having some trouble. First off, I know the code is sloppy and really redundant, that's why im looking for help. To be fair, I'm quite new to programming, but I have been working on this project for days and kept running into conatiner problems and storing the name and chip values independently. So i've tried a lot of different things, probably not correctly though so I'm open to anything.

I am working on an assignment. The problem I am having is every time I try to run my program to see what it displays, nothing shows up on the command prompt. However, if I press any key and then enter, the program starts looping uncontrollably. The program doesn't even display the initial cout message, just a blinking "_". Thanks

Don't redefine repeat within switch case. This creates a different variable named repeat which, although it has the same name, is not the variable named repeat defined before the loop. This is what you get when you copy a definition of the form bool repeat = true; into multiple places.
The continuation condition for the loop (repeat = true) will also loop forever. Comparison is two = signs, not one.
I have to write a program that simulates an ice cream cone vendor. The user inputs the number of cones, and for each cone, the user inputs the number of scoops, then the flavor(a single character) for each scoop. At the end, the total price is listed. I'm having trouble with the pricing. The correct price is displayed if the user only wants one cone.

Start by changing the return value of price() to float, or the function won't be able to return the proper cost. Also, since cones is not used to compute the cost of the purchase, we don't it as a parameter:

You code could have other problems, but I think these changes will let you continue to debug and fix the code on your own.
Your while() loop is flawed. Comment your call to checkcones() as shown below. You're already calling checkcones() as the conditional in your while(), no need to evaluate again as this will sent you into a perma-loop. You've got two of these while() statements that I could see, you'll want to comment out both.
