API Goverment rules in WSO2

I would like to implement automatic rules of API Goverment in a WSO2 API Manager platform like, for example, validating context with a regular expresion, or version numbering or API name or API resources endpoint naming or parameters, etc.
I checked in version 2.6.0 (and previous versions of major 2) that it can be done in jaggery apps of publisher, but this is a mix of data and presentation (view structure with js and html) and it is not a clear and right way to implement it.
Is there any rules engine or other dedicated mechanism to do it? If not, is it in the roadmap of WSO2 AM to add this kind of features? It would be great.
APIM 3.x onwards UIs are implemented using react and backend services are exposed via REST APIs. SO from this version onwards, this is clearly separated. UI level validations can be changed in the React and if there are any additional validations required, REST API interceptors or workflow interceptors can be used to enforce any validations.

WSO2 GREG 5: how to upload a Word document and associate it with SoapService?

I am evaluating WSO2 Governance Registry version 5.
I added some Web services using new Governance Center - Publisher web frontend - it works just fine.
But now I would like to upload a Word document (specification charter) to repository and associate it with my SoapService so it is visible in SoapService detail page.
I found how to do it using console:
http://warunaperera.blogspot.cz/2014/06/how-to-upload-file-and-associate-with.html
It works but such associated document is not visible in Governance Center / Publisher.
So the question is: is it possible with WSO2 Greg to have a Word (or other) documents associated with Soap service?
Thanks!
Yes, This is possible with new GReg 5 series. Please find this blog post which explains a basic handler for your requirement.
To get it work you will need to write a handler and publisher/store extensions. There is a sample handlers comes with the WSO2 GReg pack. The handler needs to write kind a looks like swagger handler which comes GReg out of the box. Other than that user wanted to write a rxt such as wsdl/wadl or swagger rxt. For more information please refer WSO2 Governance registry 5.1.0 documentation.
Hope this helps

Criteria for choosing simple Apache Synapse Vs WSO2

While evaluating various ESB's, I came across Apache Synapse & WSO2. In WSO2 it's mentioned that WSO2 completely uses Synapse and built on top of it.
However I am not still clear what additional features does WSO2 offer over Synapse? (Apart from commercial support).
One difference I could see is the web UI to manage proxy definitions, sequences creation etc. Are there any other features which WSO2 provides over Synapse? Also please share if there are any guidelines to choose between Synpase & WSO2
I just wanted to be sure why I am going to WSO2 over Synapse.
Thanks,
Harish
WSO2 ESB offer many great features on top of synapse. I am listing few here.
Graphical management console to create/manage/monitor proxies/APIs and services.
Support for many transports [1].
Statistics, logging and auditing support
Support for many content types
And industry accepted proven performance.
List can go on and on. Hence I am referring you to WSO2 documentation on features[2]. Hope you can get some idea from there.

How do i find all the api's exposed on WSO2 EMM

is there any other route other than the route mentioned in another post (pasted the post details below), where need to look into a bunch of files and understand the api's exposed.
=====
Yes its possible. All the functions in EMM are exposed as APIs. You better look at the scripts at wso2emm-1.1.0\repository\deployment\server\jaggeryapps\emm\api to get an idea on the APIs in EMM. You can find the endpoints inside those js filese. Also please note that this app is written using JaggeryJS. For the authentication you may look at SAML sso which has been used in EMM. For this you could use a modal dialog to load the SSO page or else you may modify it to support OAuth as follows.
WSO2 EMM does not expose any APIs, that supports registering a device other than Android or iOS as they are the supported platforms. The quoted text is from a question related to iOS.

WSO2 API Manager Getting Start

This is regarding wso2 APM
Is there a getting started guide for those who wanted to start contributing to WSO2 API Manager.
Any feature request page where I can see community voted new features on which contribution is required ?

Thanks.
To get an understanding about the jaggery application structure in the API manager (The UI parts) you can read following tutorials
http://wso2.com/library/tutorials/2012/09/customizing-api-store-publisher-part1/
http://wso2.com/library/tutorials/2013/08/customizing-api-storepublisher-jaggery-applicationspart2/
this is the structure followed in api manager store, publisher and admin-dashboard jaggery application.
You can read http://wso2.com/library/tutorials/writing-custom-hostobject/ to see how the jaggery application is connected with the java code.
These will give you a basic understanding about the code base of the api manager.
