Is there a way to programmatically update an app from the AppStore? - c++

I am developing my own app using Objective-C and C++. I want my app to be able to download the updates for other apps downloaded from the AppStore.
Does someone know if this is possible?
I know how to find which apps have a newer version via the iTunes search API.

Using Delphi API from Django-based website

I am a beginner in Django.
I have a Desktop application API (Delphi based app) in DLL format, and I am trying to build a webpage that interacts with this Desktop app. Is there any way to do that?
If the answer is No, how can I use the DLL API to interact with this app using Kivy or PyQT5 or any Python framework?
PS: I don't have any knowledge of Delphi.
I didn't try anything, I'm just wondering if my idea is doable.

Flutter Build For Android and IOS Issue

I'm having a hard time to find how to build the .apk and .ipa on Flutter.
I'm using Android Studio to make the apps, but I have no ideia on how to build it and I can't find any tutorial or documentation showing how to do it. I need to know how viable is it, because I pretend to create a lot of apps and grow on Flutter developing, so I need to know how to build and deploy my apps.
I'm just starting at Flutter developing, so I'm very beginner.
I'm using windows, can I build and deploy my apps, both for Android and IOS on it?

Which Platform of Unity is best for Facebook Canvas App

I want to deploy my Unity3D game on Facebook as canvas App. There are two platforms in unity version 5:
WebPlayer
WebGL (Preview)
I have no idea about both of these builds. I am using Parse to store my user data. And Facebook Unity SDK for social gaming. I have built for IOS platform and now for Canvas App deployment I want to know:
which one of these would be best for Canvas App?
I want to know if there are any issues regarding Parse API or Facebook Unity SDK for
WebPlayer/WebGL build?

I have built for WebPlayer and i can not run it on Google Chrome.
does it have to do anything with Canvas App too?
I have built for WebGL and tried to run it on Google Chrome and got this alert:

I will suggest you to not build your game in webplayer, because chrome is dropping support for unity webplayer(Google Chrome version 42 and later has disabled all NPAPI plugins), and other browser will also drop the support sooner or later. The best way forward is to use webGL. WebGL in unity is still getting evolved, but this is the future. I also have developed game for webGL, I didn't face much problems except data storage. Parse does not support webgl yet, you have to look for other services. In my case I have build my own php server and it is working fine. Anyways you have to choose what is best in your case. You should use webGL , but thats my opinion.
The error message is more or less self-explanatory: Chrome doesn't support running Unity WebGL when it is run from a local file on disk, because of Chrome security. This is not a real problem, as in production it will always be run from a webserver (http://).
During development, your options are:
Start chrome with access to local files: chrome.exe --allow-file-access-from-files
Host a local webserver (Apacha/WAMP, IIS, etc)
Use firefox
You are correct. Building the unity for the web is the way to go. You select web from the build settings and you can upload it to the facebook canvas. The thing with chrome is that it no longer supports NPAPI and that is what the Unity web players uses. You can manually enable it and try out your game in chrome. But for the majority of chrome users unity web player no longer works.

Need Suggestion on How to get data from SharePoint Online for Windows 8.1 App

I recently working on a Windows 8.1 App, which was developed with C# and XAML. SharePoint Online is used for Data store.
I searched and found that Wictor solution can be used for Authentication. but the problem is that we can not use Wictor solution [http://www.wictorwilen.se/Post/How-to-do-active-authentication-to-Office-365-and-SharePoint-Online.aspx] directly as it is built upon .Net framework and Metro Apps are built upon .NetCore.
One possible option is to use WCF service and have whole Wictor solution in WCF service then call WCF service from Windows App. I tested it and it is working fine.
However, I wanted to know what would be the best approach available if I don't want to deploy this WCF separately. In future I have to publish this Win App on Windows store.
Any help will be appreciated.

Edit: Another alternative is Super Zippy, it takes a Python package and its pure Python dependencies and transforms them all into a single executable file.
You might want to look into Appcelerator's (link) Titanium Desktop for developing web apps on the desktop.
It's fully cross platform, Linux, Mac OSX, Windows.
It's supports running Python, Ruby, and JavaScript code in your application all concurrently interacting with one anther in one application. It's pretty sweet.

If your Django app is already deployed as a web app then you can wrap the web app in Electron.
If the web app does not need to be distributed to users (i.e.. you don't need an installer or code signing) then Nativefier is great for that. It's free and open-source. I made a Nativefier guide here.
If you're distributing to users then you'll probably want an installer and code signing and auto-updates for Electron. ToDesktop will do all that for you without any coding or configuration.
