We are using WFFM on Sitecore 7.0 version and is going to upgrade to latest version Sitecore. In latest version, WFFM is moved to xDB. How do we upgrade the WFFM data to latest version of WFFM. Please suggest way.
You should make use of the analytics conversion tool from Sitecore with the WFFM plugin (can be downloaded from SDN same goes for the plugin).
Since you are upgrading from v7 to latest, you will need to go through the sitecore v7.5. Once you complete the upgrade to v7.5, execute the conversion tool to import the data to xDB

I'm currently on a task to upgrade from Redmine 3.0.3 to Redmine 4.0.3.
I have followed these steps from http://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/wiki/redmineupgrade but the current system is running a version of Ruby that is not supported by Redmine 4.0.3. I have also tried to make a new server using Turnkey Redmine and then copied over the database and configuration file, but with no luck.
Has anyone done this before and if so is there an how-to guide somewhere?
This appears to be more of a general 'How to deploy a Rails application' question, not really Redmine specific.
In short, Chruby or the aforementioned Rvm are the answer to all your Ruby version problems. After installing a current version of Ruby, you will have to somehow configure your Ruby server (Unicorn or mod_rails or whatever you're using) to run with that version of Ruby. How to do that really depends on what you are running and, again, is not Redmine specific but specific to that server.
Previously installed vtiger 6.5 and had active directory authentication working as per Vtiger 6 CRM AD
Clean Installed Vtiger CRM 7.1 and followed same procedure again for AD, user authenticates ok but it just loops back to the login page again.
Anyone experience this with 7.1?
Have checked config.php and confirm "$AUTHCFG['authType'] = 'AD';" is there.
Have also run the test ldap script and user also authenticates ok.
You seem to be doing everything right but I have found your not the only one with this issue, but if you take a copy of your 6.5 version and migrate to 7.1 using vtiger new files
If you are upgrading from 6.5 to 7.1, you will need to run this process twice. First to upgrade vtiger 6.5 to 7.0 and after that repeat the process to upgrade vtiger 7.0 to 7.1
Download the migration path from the SourceForge site. Patch 6.5 to 7 or Patch 7.0 to 7.1
Unzip patch.zip into Vtiger CRM Folder. A file called vtiger7.zip and migrate folder will be unpacked.
Through browser open /migrate path http://yourdomain.info/vtigercrm/migrate
Someone has successfully compete what you are trying to achieve.

WSO2 has some great documentation about upgrading between versions, but we have version 4.5.3, and I don't see in the documents if I can upgrade directly from 4.5.3 to 5.1.0?
Their docs go between levels, like 4.5.3 to 4.6, 4.6 to 5.0, 5.0 to 5.1.
Is there a process to go directly from 4.5.3 to 5.1 (without having to do the interim levels)?
No, We provide steps for migrating to next version from current version. You have to migrate step by step. Or you can combine the steps and migrate.
Providing migration scripts for two not consequent version isn't scalable. Image how many combination of script we have to maintain.
You can't migrate directly from 4.5.3 to 5.1.0, you have to do incremental migration. Other than that recently we released the new G-Reg 5.2.0 which is a much more improved version of 5.1.0, therefore we prefer you to use the latest version possible.
We have tested these migrations scripts in our local environments and it won't take that much time to migrate. lets say you have 500 artifacts in G-Reg 4.5.3 and it will take less than 2 days to do the migrations till G-Reg 5.2.0. By looking at the benefits your getting after the migration I think the time/resource consumed will worth a lot.
Please find the official documentation for Upgrading from a Previous Release. Please download the all new G-Reg 5.2.0 from here.
We have tried to upgrade Sitecore from version 7.1 to 7.2. We have referenced the following link to upgrade:
URL: http://www.jairosolutions.com/en/Home/Posts/2015/2/Upgrade%20Sitecore%207_1%20IR%20to%207_2%20IR
We have completed some steps, but when we are on "Install the package" step it's not showing success message. We have even waited for 2 days to complete the installation process, but it is showing the following screen:
Even though we have tried 2 or 3 times it is still showing the same screen. Please help us.
I would always recommend following official Sitecore documentation for upgrades. The upgrade steps from sdn.sitecore.net mention installing a new version of the update installation wizard. Have you performed this step?
Per sdn.sitecore.net, the steps to follow are:
Upgrade from Sitecore 7.1 initial release:
https://sdn.sitecore.net/SDN5/Products/Sitecore%20V5/Sitecore%20CMS%207/Update/7_2_rev_140228/Upgrade_Instructions.aspx
Upgrade from 7.2 to 7.2 SP2:

I am trying to update a Sitecore 6.6 instance to Sitecore 7.0. After logging in to the Sitecore administrative interface and launching the content editor, I receive the error:
Access is denied: 'Sitecore.Shell.Applications.ContentEditor.RenderingDatasource'.
Please help!
Thanks everyone for your inputs. It's resolved now. There was some issue in installed package. Installed package again resolved the issue.
