Trying to compile hello world on windows 8, using Sublime Text 2, get the following error:
g++: : No such file or directory
g++: No input files
[Finished in 0.7s with exit code 1]
Thanks for the help.

Solved, but embarrassing to post. The issue was that I assumed that Sublime Text 2 autosaved upon quitting the program. SB2 auto-opens the last file you're working on, so I thought it was already saved. Saving the file to whatever path eliminates the error and compiles fine.

Trying to get the output of my basic C++ program in VS Code but it's not displaying in terminal
Using the run icon
This is what is being in the terminal Terminal screenshot
However, if I do this, then the output is shown as usual
Using Run tab and debugging
Final-Terminal
Please let me know what is happening here, I don't understand why it's happening this way but not the other way
Also, I have this extension installed in case it makes a difference Extension
Your source code file is named "full pyramid". This is causing the compiler to try to compile it as two separate files, called "full" and "pyramid". Try naming the file "full_pyramid" instead.

i just finished my c++ program and everything is working just fine !
The thing is Dev C++ does NOT display all my outputs , but only a number of em , while cropping the others(the first ones) ! If i remove the last cout's , i will get the right outputs ! Any help please to get all my outputs !!?`
If your program writes more lines of output than there are on the screen, the first lines will scroll off the top of the screen. If you remove the last ones, then the first ones won't scroll off the top, and you'll be able to see them.

Label font is not working, I have added fonts folder under asset folder.
pop = CCLabel.makeLabel("Eggs left: ", "fonts/comic.ttf", 14);
CCLabel labelMainMenu = CCLabel.makeLabel("OPTIONS MENU", "Fonts/JimboStd-Regular.otf", 20);
I Think you forgot to mention the font size in float. and see that the fonts folder is created in assests ...
This was happening because of android-cocos2d.jar.. I have replaced with new jar and now its giving me changed fonts..

Raphael JS ignores text style like .attr({'font-size': 12}) [closed]

I'm trying to write text with Raphael JS, but it completely ignores the text style attributes. Other attributes like fill, fill-opacity, cursor etc. will work, but font-size, font-family etc. won't. Here's my code:
paper.text(40, 80, 'teste').attr({fill: '#fff', 'font-size': 120});
Note that the 'fill' attribute works perfectly, but the 'font-size' doesn't. I've searched the forum and found a lot of questions answered about text problems (like this one), but no one seems to be having this specific kind of problem.
Any idea of what could I do? Thanks in advance.
Ok, I've managed to solve it. There was a CSS rule overriding every text style:
* {font: 12px Arial;}
I haven't write the CSS, plus this is my first experience with Raphael JS, so I was twice unaware of it. Hope my case can help someone in the future. Thanks.

I'm trying to get Ember running with BPM based on these instructions:
https://github.com/bpm/bpm/wiki/Using-BPM-with-SproutCore-2.0
Everything seems to work fine until I try to add an expression to the Handlebars template:
Congratulations! You are running HelloWorld v{{MyApp.VERSION}}
Then I get the following error:
TypeError: 'undefined' is not a function (evaluating 'a.charAt(0)')
If I remove the expression, everything works fine.
The source is here: https://github.com/nicholasjhenry/bpm_ember
Can anyone provide determine why this error is occurring?
Edit: The line that is throwing the error is:
function normalizePath(path) {
ember_assert('must pass non-empty string to normalizePath()', path && path!=='');
if (path==='*') return path; //special case...
var first = path.charAt(0); // <======
which is called by Ember.watch.
EDIT (2012/01/03)
I have updated the packages on GetBPM.org so now they work out of the box. All you have to do is run bpm add ember in your project directory and everything will work fine. I also have updated using BPM with Ember.js instructions here: https://github.com/ud3323/bpm/wiki/Using-BPM-with-Ember.
